Hello again!

I'm sorry for all the questions, I hope I'm not being too much of a pain I am learning so much and having a ton of fun playing around with the new housing abilities (multi-housing, layout editor, all the potential!). I hope one day (soon) to be able to give back at least some of the help and information I have received.

In the meantime, yep, another question!

Can you breakout of a house without a teleportation pad? I can't seem to find anyone on Oasis willing to sell me one and put it in my house. I wasn't playing when the event was going on so I have no tokens. If you're reading this and have a teleportation pad for sale, please PM me here on the forums!

I want to break out of my Halas and Qeynos homes (the Qeynos one by the Mage tower). I know that I would have to make a walkway/path to access the "breakout" area from the main home (assuming I COULD) breakout to begin with. I was wondering though if anyone knew a way around the "invisible walls" in Halas and Qeynos homes or what the coordinates are to even get around the invisible walls (if possible?).

I know that IF it is possible to breakout without a teleport, it would be a lot of work (something like making steps and going inch by inch, but I"m ready to do what it takes...LOL

Once again, any help is tremendously appreciated!

I'm sorry.. I only know of ways for the Gorowyn, Neriak and freeblood houses. I have personaly tried to get out of a Halas house, and couldn't find a hole.

I don't know if it is still possible but should be, technically speaking. You will have some limitations as in you won't be able to block access to the outdoors pation in those homes, for instance.

These were the two threads I found about the subject:

http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=496497

That one is for Qeynos. This other one is for New Halas:

http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=499492

Just scroll down a little for the answers.

I remember also a thread with screenshots of a guy doing a South Qeynos house breakout without any teleportation pads but I can't find it right now. :/

Go out onto your balcony and keep building upwards until you reach a point where you are higher than the invisible wall. A quick way would be to use the layout editor and a pile of whatever item of your choice to make a staircase. Once you have the staircase try jumping off various points until you find the height needed to get over the invisible wall (i'd make sure you have some sort of safe fall), then remove the part of the staircase you don't need. Lots of trial and error, and if you -never- get the teleport pads your visitors will be stuck using the staircase too.

I've broken out of the houses with balconies very, very easily. All I needed to do was make sure I zoomed my camera all the way out, then I picked up a port pad and swung my camera until it was out past the balcony railing and looking toward the house. Then all I had to do is find a flat surface below the balcony to drop the pad -- a.k.a., the BWOMP game. (LOL) Keep in mind that you might need to find a small flat surface along the cliff face if you're in one of the houses that has a big drop-off below it.

Place a second pad inside your house, then port out to the one you dropped outside. From there you can pick it up and move it to a more appropriate location and pop back and forth to your heart's content.

The Neriak, Qeynos, Freeport, and Maj'Dul houses are the easiest, since they have lots of flat ground right under the balcony that can be easily reached, but all of the houses with balconies that open up to zone geometry are break-out-able. You just have to find the sweet spot to first plunk down the port pad.
