I pushed this live the other day, just to run it and see how it goes, but it's called the Sewknee Workshop on Antonia Bayle... It's a Lair of Scale dungeon if I recall correctly (am at work) and was just to amuse myself as kind of an in-game run through the Sewknee office

I did some flavor text, but after seeing that they only seem to kick off at half-health and occassionally other points, I gave up. I have more that I will add eventually (such as a book to indicate that the wolves behind you when you log in, are the wolves at the door that need to be kept in mind...lol).

Basically, you start out in the front office, with the CSRs and Forum folks... then go through the Dev offices... then the Art and Animation section... then the large open area that has the Legal and Accounting departments... then on through to the end (one surprise guest) and then the big bad meany of days gone past himself...

Again, it's by no means done, but it's currently up for anyone who wants to give it a go and amuse themselves...

Additional:

Gives about 83 tokens if memory serves.

Can be solo'd, but may die a couple times (watch for roamers and try to watch the pulls. There are a couple areas where I need to space them out a bit more - would be nice to have a social-range-indicator!!)

Haven't tried with a group, but solo wasn't too bad. Did with one of the basic warrior avatars with a couple deaths (due to rushing where I shouldn't have...lol). General pulls are between 1 and 4 mobs, but with the roamers, you can pull more).

Kraaglin Demuerte

*Editing out stupid typos...

Name of dungeon: The Gardens of Eternity (formerly The Gardens of Dangerous Delights but changed because too long for list)Server it is on: CrushboneMap used: Chardok1Your Name: PuddlejumpTheme to dungeon: Indoor Garden, with undead, fey, snakes and related monstersStory line behind the creation: The long dead Overlord Balthraxas tried to overcome life itself; instead his spirit was broken up into "Remains" which haunt his garden eternally, along with his former victims, former denizens of the garden now trapped there and interlopers from the outside. How many Marks does it give: 25-35, depending if all monsters killedFlavor Text: none, some, a lot? Substantial, but not all monsters have text, or much text (unintelligent undead, animals)Exit placed at entrance?: No - it's a short dungeon and with a bit of caution the difficulty level is not high - veteran players will probably not find it challengingHow long did it take you to create your dungeon: About 3 weeks, working off and on - somehow managed to place over 1800 objects, if that counter is correct...Did you play test it: YesAvatar used for testing: Drolvarg ShadowknightCan this be solo’ed?: YesDoes it need heals?: NoTime it took to do solo?: 20 minutes (avoiding some mobs)Time it took to do with a group?: Not tested with group, 10 minutes or lessWould you be willing to come on the show ( we use skype): I have almost no eq2 decorating experience, would be more interested in hearing how an experienced designer goes about working on a dungeonAnything else you would like to share about your creation: there was some great garden-y stuff I couldn't put in due to limited funds, would have loved to have had more "moonlight enchantment" stuff like those expensive wall-clinging vines.

Somehow, this idea popped in my head and wouldn't leave

How many Marks does it give: 80

Flavor Text: none, some, a lot? There is a little. There are a few signs, some character text, and the beginning of a book being written in the first room

Exit placed at entrance?: No, I placed the exit at the end of the dungeon for a more traditional-style dungeon

How long did it take you to create your dungeon: About a couple weeks. I had to create most of the furniture I used, plus I scavenged all my toons' houses and the guild hall for items.

Did you play test it: Yes. I'm glad I did, too. I discovered a couple things I had overlooked previously.
Name of dungeon: Museum of Mob Art

Server it is on: Unrest

Map Used: Mistmoore 1

Your Name: Ffanci

Theme to dungeon: Museum. Exhibits include the breathtaking Hall of Fire and Ice, the mysterious Tomb of Sand, the enchanting Topiaries of New Tunaria, and many more!

Story line behind the creation: I wanted to create a truly unique dungeon that did not rely heavily on the same dungeon maker furniture placed ad nauseum room after room. With over 1600 furniture items in the dungeon, less than a dozen of those are from the dungeon maker furniture toolbox (a couple candlesticks and forge which I used as a pottery kiln). I had to use the housing layout editor extensively for many of the themes found in the dungeon, but I believe it was well worth the effort.

How many Marks does it give: 76 marks

Flavor Text: Some but it does not all reliably display.

Exit placed at entrance?: No. It is placed in the final room of the dungeon. Though I am hoping SOE will decide soon that any means of exiting the dungeon will still earn rewards.

How long did it take you to create your dungeon: Well over 150 hours

Did you play test it: Repeatedly (both solo and duo on numerous avatars)

Avatar used for testing: Tidesylph Defender, Bellywhumper Cursecleaner, Nightblood Reaver, Dreadknight, Avazek Challenger

Can this be solo'ed?: YES

Does it need heals?: No, though they help if you pull haphazardly

Time it took to do solo?: Average 30-40 minutes depending on avatar used

Time it took do with a group?: 20-25 minutes (duo)

Would you be willing to come on the show (we use skype): While I would absolutely love to, I'm afraid it wouldn't be possible due to medical conditions that affect my voice.

Anything else you would like to share about your creation: When completing this dungeon I really hoped that others would run it and it would inspire them to really push the limits of what could be done in Dungeon Maker. Sadly, there are not many people running the dungeons on Unrest at the moment. I am still hopeful though.

Dreadknight.

Time it took to do with a group?: -- have not tried.

Would you be willing to come on the show ( we use skype): Sure.

Anything else you would like to share about your creation: This is my fifth dungeon. The other four all sit in the top five slots in the Permafrost Hall of Fame. Honestly, this one will probably not be as popular as the orc-based just-for-fun dungeon I made that currently sits at #1 in the Hall of Fame, because it lacks the humor. However, it is a solid play and story with some good and, I think, creative elements. The "Enter" and "Exit" signs, the rounding of the map, etc., are elements I would like to incorporate into my next dungeon, but that one will wait until I have some new joke material and likely for the poet's palace map.

Finally published mine the other night!

Name of dungeon: Keepers of the Ages

Server it is on: Everfrost

Map used: Chardok 1

Your Name: Cyliena (published under my carpenter, Trimia)

Theme to dungeon: Based off of an area on my MUD (Dark Rifts) called Cavern of Ages. (clarification: the mud is called Dark Rifts, the area/zone is called Cavern of Ages)

Story line behind the creation: The Keepers are embodiments of various facets of the world. Death, fate, passion, time.. there's quite a few keepers (11 in all! 4 major, 7 minor). In the dungeon the Keepers you see are projections of themselves (because really killing time or death would be bad, mmkay?), and they surround themselves with like-minded or fanatical creatures. Other magical creatures inhabit the dungeon as well; the power of the keepers have drawn them there.

How many Marks does it give: 110-ish (published when the bonus day started so not completely sure, but should be around that)

Flavor Text: none, some, a lot? I tried to use magic mouths but alas, they don't work. Forgot to set flavor text on the mobs and didn't go the notebook route. Sorry!

Exit placed at entrance?: No.

How long did it take you to create your dungeon: Almost two very intense weeks!

Did you play test it: Oh yes, a bunch! I had several short-duration publishings as I added more creatures to ensure that fights wouldn't be too insane, and also duo ran it several times as well.

Avatar used for testing: Libant Frostfuser (duo w/ hubby playing Nightblood Scourge), Widowmage (duo w/ hubby playing Nightblood Scourge) and Mystic Moppet (solo--forget exact avatar name offhand).

Can this be solo’ed?: Yes, but a few spots can be dangerous so a first run through might earn you a couple of deaths.

Does it need heals?: It shouldn't!

Time it took to do solo?: ~40-45 minutes (with a death)

Time it took to do with a group?: ~20-30 minutes (or 40 mins if you're running it with an 11yo and 7yo )

Would you be willing to come on the show (we use skype): Yup!

Anything else you would like to share about your creation:

My clock? Probably was the most stress-inducing decoration I made! http://twitpic.com/88l5dp/full

Also, lore text directly from my mud, one NPC's explaination of the Keepers:

"Ah, you wish to know more about the Keepers. The beings that you came across in the halls of the caverns were not the Keepers themselves, but instead what they call projections of themselves. Once the Keepers had discovered that the cavern was once again revealed to outsiders after centuries of being hidden, they chose to protect the hallway to the labyrinth in this fashion. The six companions that were chosen to assist the four Keepers also placed their projections in several abodes, in hopes of further protection from outsiders. Some adventurers, such as yourself, have managed to break through these attempts of concealment. As you see, I know much of the Keepers you have encountered above, so if you wish to know more of them individually, please ask it of me."

"The companions are simply overseers of their domains, whether it be a certain emotion or an occurance of life.. or afterlife, for one of them. They are quite different then the Keepers, as they are not as strong, knowledgable or prestigeous. They will only answer to each other and the Keepers. Outsiders are ignored until they step foot in one of their domains."

"Tai`Shar is the Keeper of Time. She is the most patient sentient being I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. She is the one who speaks with the Sun, telling it that it is time to rise, and whispers to the Moon that it is time for the darkness of night. She can slow or quicken the flow of time if she so desires."

There's a lot more lore text to that guy but I'll spare ya'll the spam.

Name of Dungeon: Foggy BottomServer it is on: Antonia BayleMap used: Lair of Scale 4 (the little one)Your Name: CheddarellaTheme to Dungeon: Weather-Mage's Abandoned Workshop(The following is from the Guide Book placed at the Entrance)You have stumbled into what was once the work space of a powerful weather-mage who called himself Cumulonimbus. (Please ignore the mumbles from some of the workers on the dig who have started to refer to him as Accumulated Nimnutz.)As we have delved into this long-abandoned structure, we realized it had originally been divided into zones for each season: Summer, Spring, Winter, Autumn -- all maintained in careful balance by interwoven spells, artifacts, and magical creatures. We believe the mage used this room to play chess with some of the avatars of natural forces, and we have collected a few of the artifacts that represent what you will find in the seasonal rooms. We do not know what caused Cumulonimbus to leave this place, allowing the systems to run down -- why, for example, has nearly all of the water left the Summer Room, with most of it apparently running down to the lowest room (Spring), which we have taken to calling Foggy Bottom. It may be due to the appearance of a powerful Naiad in what was Autumn, but has since been transformed into a type of "Throne Room" for the powerful beauty. She is the focus of the room, but she has her hidden protectors, nonetheless. Some have said that Cumulonimbus fell in love with her, but the feeling was not mutual, and it drove him mad.NOTE: We're sorry that the rock slide that brought you down here is not stable enough to allow you to exit the same way. The only place strong enough to support an egress is located between the Winter Room and the Naiad's Room. The Archaeological Dig Team at the Free University of NorrathStory Line Behind Creation: I was hunting in Sinking Sands and looting so many Crocodile spawners, I figured I had to make a swamp to put them in.Marks Given: with 25% boost = 43; should be 34 or 35 normallyOnly a few Flavor Texts, due to bugs, none necessary for completion.Exit not at Entrance (as stated in Guide Book)How Long to Create: About a month, due to needing great quantities of Sandy Squares and the grotto events just ended...I play-tested it for hours to try to adjust spacing, tiers/levels, etc., to reduce social aggro deaths in the Summer Room. I used the Marketplace avatar: Bloodhorn Sentinel. It has nice Interrupt, small AoE, and powerful Gore attack. Can be solo'ed, if careful -- walk slowly around perimeter of Summer room and Foggy Bottom. Takes about 20-30 minutes max, probably less once you learn the tricks.Easy duo -- especially with heals.Yes, will be willing to talk on show -- obviously not the same night as Brasse.I want players to consider this a quick, light challenge -- best compliment would be Entertaining!

Name of dungeon: "Orkfest (Solo 31, Updated!)"

Server it is on: Antonia Bayle

Map used: Crushbone 5

Your Name: Miaou

Theme to dungeon: Orcs at work and play

Story line behind the creation: No rank upon rank of militant orcs here, but rather a mellower, sprawling home, as it were. While they're not known to be the world's best decorators or housekeepers, some effort has been made to liven the place up a bit. Just what did happen to the apprentice cook's pet, Tiny? Will the orc painter actually add more mauve, as the exhumed art critic recommends? Just where did Jeeves put that ledger? Is that map upside-down, or can that orc just not read it? Who is winning the card game? What does one do with a drunken orc bard? And why, oh why, do you not want to wake up Fluffy? (Are three heads really better than one?)

How many Marks does it give: 31

Flavor Text: none, some, a lot? moderate (on the sentients)

Exit placed at entrance?: No

How long did it take you to create your dungeon: Original 20-mark version, 4 hours. Then another 4 hours after I pulled it off the Hall of Fame to craft, decorate, update flavor text and add 3 more rooms of furniture and mobs.

Did you play test it: yes

Avatar used for testing: windrider curate, but should be doable with any

Can this be solo’ed?: easily - there are also several spots where you can bypass mobs if you want to move through faster (but get less tokens)

Does it need heals?: Not if you practice sane pulling. Designed so you get 1-2 mobs at a time

Time it took to do solo?:

Time it took to do with a group?: n/a

Would you be willing to come on the show ( we use skype): not able to

Anything else you would like to share about your creation: I tried to add a bit of personality and flavor to this, instead of making it a grindfest, so that it would be good for the novice dungeoneer, as well as those who like to sightsee as they go. While I added a bunch of decorations to the place, I tried to leave a lot of bare stone as well - this is the home of orcs, after all, and they'd not be at home if I fancied it up too much.

I've made a few small changes to my Dungeon, took out some of the mobs that where clustered and would be the death of solos and added an Actual Lich I ran across doing a Befallen dungeon so now the Dungeon has 2 Boss Mobs. Challenge rating a little over 9005 still.

I would have a exit portal at the entrance, but I can only have one exit portal it seems.

I would love to be able to put a non-aggro version of some of these mobs in my houses my Provie Sentaiga has a Bar and Buffet going on (it hit hall of fame recently, going to do a few modifications come Brewday)

Name of dungeon: Domino's Sanctuary is under attack!

Server it is on: Test

Map used: Lair of Scale 2

Your Name: Leucosia

Theme to dungeon: Halfling temple dedicated to the great goddess Domino

Story line behind the creation: I wanted to create a temple to Domino, something better than the small altar I had in a room. I decided to try a dungeon that would be attacked and that adventurers have to defend. Sadly, it's not possible to make mobs non-aggressive so you'll have to kill the priests. The history is the following:

Somewhere on Norrath, probably in Baubbleshire, there is a hidden portal that leads to a very special zone, the Sanctuary of Domino. In this sacred place dwell Domino's worshipers and priests. They spend their days in prayer, play music and, of course, eat the delectable dishes prepared by the myconid cooks. Naysayers may think that Domino is not a goddess, but they should know better! As you, as a random adventurer, enter the place to pay your respects, you'll find a grievous sight: orcs and foul beasts are defiling the temple! They even killed a messenger sent by the High Priestress who teleported away to find help, leaving the temple in the hands of the High Priest!

How many Marks does it give: 125

Flavor Text: none, some, a lot? none, it's too random to make a good storyline out of those

Exit placed at entrance?: no but in the middle of it. The exit is on the 2nd room if you go straight forward after entering the temple. It'll take 10 minutes to reach

How long did it take you to create your dungeon: 2 months of planning, 2 weeks of intensive decorating

Did you play test it: yes

Avatar used for testing: Nightblood reaver

Can this be solo’ed?: yes

Does it need heals?: not really but a life-taping char is prefered.
