<p>I am sure like a few of you, you probably have 500 or so Void Shards.  It would be very nice if we had an option to craft x number of Void Shards to make a Mark of Manaar, x number of Marks to make a Primal Velium Shard, and x number of Primal Velium shards to make a Pure Primal Velium Shard (so on and so forth).  I would love a way to spend or create new currency out of the old currency. </p>

<p>Why should you be allowed to use currency obtained in an older zone into a new zone ? You haven't actually played the new zone, have you ?</p><p>Plus every time a new zone is released why should anyone have an advantage of getting the newest set of gear using their old stuff ?</p>

You haven't actually played the new zone, have you ?</strong></p><p>Plus every time a new zone is released why should anyone have an advantage of getting the newest set of gear using their old stuff ?</p></blockquote><p>This is a good point.  Although it did make me think that maybe some sort of conversion could be done to prior zones, by prior zones I mean prior expacs.  So for example TSO shards could conceivably be traded in for SF marks.  Since DoV is still "current" expansion, then can't trade in SF marks for DoV shards.</p><p>Or maybe do it on a timed basis, maybe after an expansion has been out (number is arbitrary and only suggestion) six or nine months then can do some sort of trade in from prior expacs. </p><p>Now that said, I don't know the mechanics or programming that this would entail so not even sure this could be done without some major work attached to it.</p>

<p>I'd like to see them remove the shard and mark costs for older expansions gear so that I could actually make that gear, at least for appearance sets or to dress my guild npc's or mannequins.  Velious armor (except for Drunder) doesn't even require shards now.  Seems odd that Thurg and Ry'Gorr can be made without the DoV shards but old TSO and SF sets can't be.</p>
