I suppose I am either gaguing interest, or seeing if there is already a guild like this, but i am wondering how interested people would be in a tiered level-lock progression guild. I know I can't be the only one who wants to go back and do the old raids properly, and also get the prismatic/godking weps for appearance.

The premise would be that we would cap levels at a specific tier until all the content in that tier is cleared. so cap at 50, 60, 70, 80, and then max. As much as I miss prismatic and godking, i also miss labs and deathtoll too!

If this is something we need to start up, I am willing to roll on any server, really.

There are several guilds like that on Antonia Bayle. But all the ones I know have already progressed through the early content.

Vitality is on TSO/RoK.

http://vitality.guildportal.com/Gui...p;TabID=2699911

There is another one about that level too although I forget the name.

I think I did hear of a new one starting up recently.

Also some of the older progression guilds like Vitality do go back and revisit the old content from time to time.

I love progression guilds, but I seem to only be able to get in on ones that fizzle out and never actually do anything. So while I would LOVE to join one, I'm hesitant at this point to get into yet another fizzle guild that ends up going nowhere.

Progression guilds take a lot of effort. It's not a playstyle that appeals to everyone, so your member pool is fairly small.

But it can be done

I love progression play and progression rading myself. I just recently became a member of "The Guild" on Antonia Bayle. We're currently a two tier guild, having characters level-locked both at 80 and at 40. We've just recently entered RoK, and just begun our lower tier as well. The emphasis is on having fun and experiencing the content over purity or showing how uber we are. The leadership are great friendly people. Raids are on Fridays on Saturdays in the evening. I highly recommend it. You can read all about us here. http://vitality.guildportal.com/Guild.aspx?GuildID=322045&TabID=2699911

I recently saw a post by a guild Nox Annihilation on Antonia Bayle level locked at 60. I don't know anything else about them, but you can find them if you search the posts on this forum.

I was also a serious member of Vitality just over a year ago, and I cannot recommend them at all. I was there when much of the leadership was kicked from the game by SoE, after it was discovered they'd been taking advantage of an exploit, mining it for many thousands of plat over the course of over a year. SoE reinstated their accounts after they appealed apologizing profusely. However the way they handled the event was poor, in my opinion; they lost of the membership at that time. They were also quite high handed, often kicking people from the guild with little warning or reason. On one occasion, a friend of mine who'd been a junior officer sent me a tell asking if I knew why he'd been kicked from the guild. He'd logged on to discover he was no longer a member and his access to the guild website was gone; no warning given, no reason, no chance to say his goodbyes. When I confronted the leader, he said it was on account of the person in question failing to respond to tells, which he took to be malicious. I was also kicked from the guild for being criticizing the way the leadership handled the event. If you want to read about my adventures in Vitality, google "Why I left Vitality" in quotes; I wrote it all up.

I"d be interested in a progression guild that was jsut starting (or running new toons) so I could so it from the start. It could be kinda fun.

Although I cannot speak for events of the past, I must say that I am a current member of Vitality and we're all very friendly and not "high handed" at all. I've yet to see anyone be kicked from the guild for anything. As far as past leadership goes, again, I cannot speak to that but our current leadership is great! We have a good group on and are currently raiding TSO. So please look up any of our recruiters if this is appealing to you. We lock at level 80.
