The most recent patch has admited new dungeons to the Hall of Fame, but I am curious if anyone got the achievements/award for doing so. I've had my dungeon in the hall of fame since the Friday before the xmas holiday and didnt recieve anything after the daily award uupdate yesterday. I petitoned about it and the GM clained they were retro active and could do nothing to help me. sad deal is, the other hall of famer on my server is a token farm... which would annoy the crap out of me if they got the disco on the trophy - but that is beside the point lol

Unrelated question,

Tweaking and republishing my dungeon wiped all my "likes" (understandable) and took it out of the Hall of Fame (even tho it kept its 50+ awards and green tag).

Will I need an additional 50 awards before my dungeon is placed back into the HoF?

Guess what?

I didn't get the achievement. As usual.

I made an extensive post for Rothgar on the Beta Boards detailing the bug with housing hall of fame title (he wasn't aware of it)... And the exact same bug made it to Dungeon Leaderboards.

I already had to ask for a manual GM validation of all my Hall of Fame houses on my main char (5), I didn't bother for all the other chars, but I think my GM has some better things to do than validate all those bugged awards.

PLEASE! Could you make it so that we don't have to be online to get our achievement and make this change retroactive ? As I said above, I got GM validation for the achievements but it didn't up the count of the houses: I'm still at 1/6 for housing leaderboards with 1 to 5 achievements validated, which means that my GM will always have to manually validate... Please, cut down the work load of GM and fix those! We shouldn't have to be online at 6 pm PST to get our achievements!

Confirming this Bug

My 2nd dungeon entered the Hall of Fame

- It is in the right section of the Dungeon Maker Hall of Fame

- I recieved a mail containing a Housing Rating Trophy

- I did NOT recieve any achievement for this happening

(I was not online the moment my dungeon entered the HoF)

A little bit longer in fact.

No problems if it's not in the next hotfix, if it gets hotfixed soon. I trust the fix will be for houses too?

It's not retroactive for House Leaderboards Hall of Fame. I just logged in on a char with a house on hall of fame for several months now and got no update.

I just logged in on a char with a house on hall of fame for several months now and got no update.

Rothgar, if there's not going to be an automatic retrospective fix could you confirm whether all levels of Account are entitled to a GM fix?

We have a Silver account in our guild that has quite a few houses in Hall of Fame, on different characters. In the past we've been able to petition a GM on a Gold account, tell him the problem and the titles have been added. Tonight a GM refused to do anything about it because the account that had received the awards was Silver.

We understand the Silver account can't petition, but is it within a GM's discretion to apply the fix once he's been informed of the problem?

If the GM really can't (or shouldn't) fix it then the automatic fix needs to be made retroactive.

20th January 2012

The automatic offline update is not working, or at least not consistently. We had another house go into Hall of Fame on the same character and again no title. Trophy yes, title no.

I wonder if the earlier fix applied by Freeport GMs (when it was the only F2P server and the GMs were happy to update titles on a Silver account when notified of the problem by a Gold accouint, which they have now repeatedly confirmed they cannot do post-F2P conversion) has bugged the automatic process?

Perhaps whatever the GMs did to add the missing titles is being ignored by the new, automatic process? Whatever, it's not working. We're bugging it as it happens and we can give character details if you need to take a look at what's going on.
