I was very down and depressed, being on Freeport, that I was unable to run the lost frostfell gifts quest. I kept track on the Guide forums and just never seem to connect at the right times.

Last night I was on my Ogre Shadowknight with my hubby. We just ran the quet to get the regal cloak and hubby got his pet slurry. Just as I was coming out, someone said in general chat that the GM was at the Halas magic door.

I ran......made hubby come with me. Cause I was evil, I went through TD to get to New Halas. Was so worried I was going to miss the GM.

Giftgiver........you are a sweetheart. He was so nice and very funny and helped out my hubby who is, not slow, but...a bit slow on knowing what to do.

We chatted with Giftgiver. And defended him against some one who kept throwing snowballs at him. And found out that Giftgiver was tired of people "Hailing" him. He simply just wanted someone to say hello. He said so many people were worried about the "weather".

I had a grand time with Giftgiver. And got the quest done. He was ready to leave, but was kind enough to wait for hubby to bring one more character to run the quest.

THIS is why I love this game.

~Peachie..

The Guides are the greatest thing about this game . It's a real treat to run into them. I make a point of it when I am on.

This is probably the only reason I appreciate F2P. I used to love these events back in the day. It was like every other day things like these would pop up. I love them!

BTW did this event give you the mistletoe and/or snow machine?

About half of them had poor English, one used short hand text (like "u" and "r") while another stood around talking about how she had been gone for years, but just started playing EQ2 again.Am I meant to be impressed, and in awe of this? Because I am not.To me, Guides are one of the most over-rated things in EQ2.
