Surprising, not only that but his reactives even is tagged adept are as powerfull than the expert of my inquisitor. I enjoy stomper but providing groupwide tenacity is quite too much.

Anyone who spend a little time getting gear or is willing to put up some plat will have their tenacity group wide aswell, so I don't see the problem.

No it's not. Most inquisitors at 90 have their enervated.

And it heals for more so that they can compete with other players - and fyi, mercs I've seen have all experts, not ADEPTS.

Why do they have such huge numbers to compete with other players? Because players have crit, crit bonus, ability mod, and AAs.

So you're still going to heal better. The ONLY thing a merc might have on a player is that they auto attack harder than your average non-super-geared player.

If the merc Inquisitor is out healing a player, you've got a BAD player. I mean, epic bad. EPIC. BAD.

The annoying is still out in full force, but Gorock is at least trying to nerf NPCs instead of players. It's a step in the right direction.

As alway the fanboys here refuse to get the obvious facts, with stomper nobody needs a healer anymore till 80-85. Yes i will rather get a groupwide tenacity than a real inquisitor.

I m not speaking about the level 90 game, stomper won't keep alive a non healer even in ascent.

The problem is not a dumb mercenary competing with a human healer at 90, this won't happen. The problem is about getting a game in which healer will gradually dissapear.

Why would you play a slow priest when any class can get free heals and cures?

No inquisitor get groupwide tenacity before he gets his mythical. And don't tell me about people without their converted weapon i can validate the quest till Vd3 with a naked level 85 and for Vd3 I simply need a partner. And many classes can certainly solo Vd3. I do not count anymore how many ennervated quest i helped to validate.

I m talking about the trip to 90, not about the 90 or 80 game.

I soloed all heroic content while yellow and white with my paladin, so yes healers were already redundant but you needed skill and specific classes. Obviously i was not talking about leveling doing solo content since that has always been possible and easy.

What you don't get is that nobody needs a healer (even a good one) before 90.

So basically we have a game in which healers are useless till 89, then they become important. This does not affect me much i have 2 level 90 healers that are properly geared. But the future is clear, less and less healers will be created.

Why would i bother playing a healer when a 33 BL does almost 800 dps zone wide ?

The point you are not getting is that no one needs a healer pre-90 ALREADY. There is almost ZERO grouping pre-90. NONE. You're trying to make a mountain out of a grain of sand. AGAIN.

I was just in a group with my 63 Fury. Queued up for the Dungeon Finder and got placed in a group with only 2 people, and they're both lvl 60 necromancers.

Eventually, after waiting about 10 minutes for reinforcements, we got 1 more person. A lvl 63 shadowknight with an Inquisitor Merc.

Now, my Fury is my twink character, wearing all Legendary/Fabled gear and completely adorned with lots of AA's for her level. At 63 I have about 11khp and 10k mana self buffed. This 63 inquis merc had 21k hp! And just as much mana!

Doesn't this seem a little overpowered?

It is way more than what my 35 test-inqui has.

I checked about the groupwide tenacity, it's neither on the mythical in the aas. Indeed the level 33 Stomper already got some T8 raid gear since tenacity groupwide come from such items.

Brigh wrote:

Mercs are level 90s mentoring down.

Indeed level 33 stomper uses tenacity 9.

So stomper is mentoring down my beastie and has raid gear. I m sure he bougth most of is gear because he was even too lazy to get his mythical, or if he got it he never heard about the clicky cure ...lazy ratonga

At 90 he performs very badly, but he could probably get a spot (as buf & cure bot) in a raid farming the easy mod.

Anyway i see stomper as a strong incentive to play dps classes, especially melee. Why would you play a healer if you need to wait level 90 to be of any use ?
