View Full Version : Customized Spawners

This is really just a fluff suggestion but I got a neat idea the other day.

The first part is we should have the ability to make spawners of any race and then dress them in any appearance gear in the game. The format would be similar to guild hall and tradeskill assistant manniquins. Place a manniquin in the dungeon and then place what ever you want in the appearance slots. Then have a hireling type interface to customize the spawner by setting the race, gender, and uniform and possibly class too. (see below) This way I could make a dungeon full of ogres and trolls if I wanted to. Or a woodsy dungeon full of Fae spawners. Or a tinkered dungeon full gnome enemies. The possibilties to add flavor to the dungeon are endless.

This just seems to be the next logical step where existing game features come together to create an additional avenue for expanding creativity in player made dungeons.

Here is the list existing features that would be brought together to make the customized spawner.

1. Appearance slots have been available a player customization since EoF. Later appearance slots were added to guild hall hirelings, then mercenaries, and tradeskill apprentises.

2. Uniform manniquins came out with the guild halls and then were added to player homes through the tradeskill apprentises.

3. Hirelings which have already have built in customization of race and gender.

Bringing these three existing popular features together is what makes the customized spawner possible.
