View Full Version : Spawners on top of objects

<p>Anyone know a solution....I place mobs on top of an object and leave...when I come back they are on the floor under the object. This happened in mistmore 5 layout but can place spawner on object in lair of scale 1 just fine</p>

<p>I had that happen with spiders on a coffin. When I next checked on them they were inside the coffin (on the floor). I just moved 'em out, though now they're more obvious.</p>

<p>Thanks for the heads up.  I've actually been working on a Mistmoore 5 layout and planning to place some mobs up higher on things.  Now I better check for a dungeon layout I can do this in.</p><p>In regards to the spiders....I kind of think the idea of the spiders being "in the coffin" and not seen is good, particularly if you can get ahold of a coffin with the lid ajar.  <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/97ada74b88049a6d50a6ed40898a03d7.gif" border="0" /></p><p>On the whole though, I hope to be able to place some mobs up higher, perferably in all the dungeon layouts.</p>

<p>Its a clipping issue, just like some people have their mobs walk through walls.</p><p>For now, SoE is more concered with filling the SC store with token items, than fixing current player-dungeon bugs ...</p>

<p>Are there any of the dungeons where it's know you can place spawners on top of items?</p><p>When I reflected back, most of the dungeons I've been in have them on the layout ground.  I can start paying more attention and also testing...</p><p>Darn....had really starting my planning for the Mistmoore 5 layout.  I even double checked to confirm it's a problem for that layout.</p>
