Anybody else think that the weapons obtained from the Beastlord epic are a bit.....RIDICULOUS??

<p>the BL epic weapons are nice. the BL mythical requires killing the HM Statue of Rallos Zek.</p><p>the BL 'enervated' to me seems like it's made to be the BL weapons until they start raiding, rather then everyone else who has replaced thier epics with Velious items since they got them/enervated them.</p><p>though I don't raid so I can't say how good they are compared to raid weapons for scouts.</p>

<p>Are you referring to the weapons from the fabled epic quest, or their mythicals?  If mythical, you have to be able to kill (or be in a raid that can kill) HM Statue...which there are what, 4, 5? guilds game-wide that can do this?</p>

<p>Meh.. people are skipping hm statue and moving on to drunder, because theres no point.  too much effort for minimal upgrades ( cut and dry, hm statue is not an efficient use of raid time)</p><p>Why spend time on hm statue when theres more potential yield in drunder.  So, they added an actual reason to do statue(beastlord mythical).  Not for fun but to make you grind.</p><p> Either nerf it, or add items to it.  Look at the 4 rune theer loot table if you need ideas.</p>

I am referring to the "regular" version which is awarded at the end of the quest.</p><p>As I stated, only a very few beastlords (comparatively) in raid gear will be able to obtain the weapons due to the final mob you have to kill for the quest. The instance you have to enter to kill the final mob is a solo instance. You can't bring anyone in with you.</p>

<p>The weapons are about 15-20% better in stats and damage rating than the legendary EoW weapons I bought off the broker for my Beastlord for ~100 plat each.  They also lack the Rain of Blades procs (or any proc for that matter) that I had on the EoW weapons and have no red or yellow adornment slots.  With reforging, the blue stats on the EoW weapons were also better than the Beastlord epics.</p><p>The final step of the quest must be completed solo without a merc and is quite difficult.  Obviously at this point, nobody knows if SOE will make that fight easier, or not.</p><p>The Mythical versions are obviously extremely nice weapons, but certainly worthy of defeating HM Statue of Rallos Zek.</p><p>It's a new class and one of the main features of AoD.  With item progression as it stands now, you'll probably see weapons coming from DoV Part 2 group content in February that are just as good.</p><p>Personally, I would have liked to see new epic quests for all of the classes come out with AoD, since the real issue isn't how over-powerful the Beastlord epics are, as much as it is about how out of date the other classes' weapons are.</p>
