View Full Version : Increased mana pool

OK, todays update notes said they increased the mana pool on avatars. Did they also increase the mana costs for using the abilities? I have tested a couple of the avatars and it seems to me while the number of mana points total is higher, the mana usage is increased even more so that a solo avatar fighting a 2 group mob uses almost 2/3 to a full bar of mana where previously it used less than half a bar total. Am I mistaken here, or is this what everyone else is seeing also?

It's funny because I made a thread about the same thing 2 minutes before you made yours. So you aren't the only one who has noticed

By what I gathered, the avatar abilities have a power cost which scales as a percentage of their max power. Thus, though the power pools have increased, the cost of abilities scaled appropriately which made the 'buff' a bust.

Now rather than avatars having more power to work with, they instead take longer to recooperate outside of combat because their power bar is larger.

This is based on posts that I've read in the past.

It's almost senseless now to use minotaur-warrior's self-buff, becouse an amount of mana it consumes as upkeep just a slightly less then out of combat power regen. So, it needs to turn this buff off after each battle to regen fast enough...

I hope, it's a bug, not a feature.
