I have a few alts I would like to delete, but they have a lot of house items that are flagged no-trade and I really don't want to lose all of the house items. I don't see any reason why any house placeable item can't be flagged as heirloom. It's not like it would change the market values of anything because they are locked to the account. The following is a list of items I have found in one alt's house that are currently flagged as no-trade.

A Foggifier Defoggifier 5000A Frostfell CarolA Goblin PopsicleA Strange Cabbage PlushieA Tinkered InspirationAssistant Researcher's Notes, Vol. 1, Halls of ErudinAssistant Researcher's Notes, Vol. 2, the High Council of ErudinAssistant Researcher's Notes, Vol. 3, the High Council of ErudinCarpet of CloverClockwork Menace ToyCommonlands Creature CatalogDalron's Small Black Book (extended version)Dead Frostfell TreeDestroy All Vampires!Fighting Baby Ice Dragon PlushieFlying Reindeer PlushieFreeport Sewers Creature CatalogFrostfell TreeJournal of a Disciple of MarrLady Shae's ArrowReplica: Qeynos ClaymoreReplica: SoulfireSmiting of the WerewolfSnoogle's Party KegStone Jug of KaladimTapestry of the SisterhoodThe Corrival's BladeThe Enemy WithinTumpy Tonic MaxWhy the Grump Hated FrostfellZoe's Deck of Wild Playing Cards

At the very least I think it would be nice if items that were from world events that will never again be available were flagged as Heirloom.

+1

I totally agree with having all house items marked as heirloom instead. It makes no sense to have it tagged as no-trade since as long as it's bound to the account no-one else can use it anyway, and it would allow to free up some space in the char slots.

And I've tried creating a new char with the same name, it doesn't work. When you return the item to its owner it gets lost (or at least that's what I've experienced).

i dont know if it still happens but when i was on live yrs ago i got all my house items on alts put it in a home of my main for deco purpose and deleted the alts i didnt want... but the items stayed in the mains home... i obviousle could not take them out of a place but when i changed homes i crated them up and when i got to my new place they were still in the crate... my i sugest u make an alt find an item that is no trade put it in ur mains home or a home of a char u wont delete then delete the new alt and see it it stays or get deleted with the char! im quite sure it wont go any where!.... well thats what happend for me! good luck

I would Love to see the items also become Herloom. However, what aboutt he No-Trade Faction house items (Paineal, Hu Main, Seefarer Buckaners (FP) Coalition of Trades Folk, Qeynos Guard just to name a few & sorry for spelling errors). Though it would be nice not to have to take each charecter I have & continually get their factions up, but wouldn't it take some of the fun out of the game?

+1

And all the city merchant items as well the claim items. I can see the pros in this and the cons. I did a quest few years ago that had a house items that was not tradable. I placed the item in my alts home and deleted the toon. Back then when the moving crates was null, I had a tough time moving because I can not pick up the book. Eventually I was able to claim ownership of the item. Perhaps maybe put in a system if the chracter is non-existance for XX amount of time to claim ownership of that item.
