Greetings adventurers!

My little necro decided a couple of months ago to move to her hometown where she grew up. She remembers playing with the kids in the streets although she had to pay attention to the thiefs and city guards as the city wasn't such a nice area to live in at that time (hence probably why she choose to study necromancy).

Now the Overlord has returned and has made the city a much safer place. The downside being that he also decided to plant a couple of trees through the house she just built. She didn't have the courage nor could she afford to redesign the entire structure, and decided she could as well live with a few leaves popping through the roof

She has opened her house to visitors now on the leaderboards under Large Homes, hoping they would enjoy the tour.

Her address is:

Splitpaw server, 3 Compassion road, North Freeport. For those of you who live in too far away places she took some pictures for you to enjoy!

The entrance showing the elevator:

The mailbox:

The elevator on the dock side:

The house:

The entrance with the doorbell on the right:

The garden on the left of the house:

Dining area:

View on the dining area and kitchen:

The kitchen:

The living room:

The fireplace:

A view of the house from the terrace:

Lounge area on the terrace:

The parent's bedroom:

The dressing:

One of the bathrooms:

The second bathroom:

Her daughter's bedroom.
Ohhhh so much to love here! I have been trying to find a table for a fireplace and and and... yeah - consider that stolen. Your color choices are just wonderful. Love it!

Hm. I always thought Freeport breakouts were too limited to do anything really interesting with. Thanks for proving me wrong.

This is a cool house with lots of neat ideas.

First off I just want to say great job your house has really inspired me. Sorry for the dumb question but I am a new returning player and I just went to 3 compassion road on my server and the house looks nothing like this on the outside. How did you make it look the way you did with the window and lawn? Even the interior of one I visited doesn't look the same as in your screenshots.

Hey SlawSlayer,

Firstly, many thanks for the compliment

To answer your question: I built the house from scratch, meaning that I bought a house on 3 compassion road, placed a couple of teleporting pads (there is a thread on this forum called "Breakout coordinates" showing all locations for placing your telepads in order to break out the house and end up in some area where you can build another house for instance). So you place one pad in your existing house, the second pad as indicated in the thread (or if you go on the terrace you can place your pad directly in the area below), and you end up with some space "outside" the house, for this example in Freeport by the docks.

I built everything: the garden floor (grass, stone path, fountain, rocks etc), the house itself as well i.e. I used Erudite bookcases to build the walls inside and outside, and I used sumac tiles to build the floors and sumac dividers to build the roof. I also used the Layout Editor (an awesome software allowing you to pitch and roll items) but it is not mandatory.

So indeed this house does not exist in a pre-made fashion. Many of the houses showing on this forum have been created from scratch by their owner and you won't find them "for sale" in the game, you'll have to build it.

Hope this will invite you to build a house as well and show it on this forum for us to visit It requires some reading through this forum and on eq2designers.com to become familiar with the concept but it's definitely an awesome part of the game.

Very professional! Excellent attention to detail, creative and stylish. Great theme carried out well and a joy to visit! This is a true estate and a stroll around the grounds completes it! I am just amazed that you were able to do this with a freeport house!

Kudos,

Cloudrat

Thanks for sharing

I am really touched by all the nice comments

This is my second house and I spent 2 months building it. I was dreading the Freeport revamp so I waited before publishing it. After GU62 went live, when I saw the palmtrees sticking through the walls I almost cried, but then decided to hide them for what I could and for the rest oh well leave it as it is. I didn't have the courage to move walls and roof and everything knowing the amount of time it took to build the whole thing in the first place.

I am just so glad SOE didn't plant a palmtree in the middle of my house
