I don't see a print function with the layout editor, and I'd like to be able to print my current files using the editor's sorting abilities. How can I do that?

I just tried printing the file that is in my EQ2 folder, but while I could maybe use that in a pinch to replace a particular item, the way it's sorted it's not much use to me. In fact, it's pretty much a horror show of numbers to my digit-challenged brain.

Oh, BTW, I see a function called Reorder (build top-down.) What does that do? Been timid about trying it...sounds a bit like my house will be turned on its head, but then, why would anyone want to do that, so it's probably a very useful, even vital, function that I have never employed.

Not sure what you are wanting to do but, when I want a shoppping list I put the list in alpha order and highlight the names colums ctrl c to copy and paste it into a notepad or excel depending on what I am planning next.

I guess I can look into it (been busy lately so no promises). Reorder is an old function that I made to try and fix some bugs with disappearing items. It just sorts the items by their height so that the highest item is 1st in the file. There is no reason to use it and I don't even know if it would still work. It will be disabled in the next release.

Cloudrat .. there is also the Manifest button. The save for manifests will create a simple CSV which you should be able to open in any spreadsheet program.
