View Full Version : Everfrost summer Home: Under Construction

I have been working on my newest alt's Everfrost Summer Home. I have mostly been working on adding additional rooms. Since the ceiling in the central room is so high, I went up.

Location: South Freeport, Oasis

Owner: Keathairne

The entry... you can see a crack in the ceiling above center-right. I have since corrected that.

I have made a few changes since most of these pics were taken.

This is the ramp to the second floor. I had originally been going to have stairs, but that eats up so much of the item count. What I ended up using are the long honey botanical rugs. They are invisible (and walk through) from the underside, but fully solid from the top.

This is a view of the bedroom, facing left from the entry. I plan on replacing all the gold tiles with black marble once the Freeport city festival arrives.

...and here is the right side of the bedroom. Note: the rug on the floor by the far wall looks so innocent, but it hides the ramp to the shrine below.

The shrine. I had to have one of my other alts donate the second [Praise the Prince of Hate], and again, I plan on replacing the gold tiles with black marble. I am thinking of doing the floor in here with black marble also.

I am not sure how long it will take me to finish this place. I am making as much use of the natural features as I can. I would like to thank Beergut for the idea of using ramps. I added three floors and an attic, but the upper levels are currently unfurnished.

just as i suspected, the coin tiles look like 1970s gold carpet when scaled largest was a bit of a colour shock when stepping through the tapestry, but i like it the invisible backed rugs really threw me until i reread your post lol *blush* it looks like the very top floor's ramp is horizontal and unable to get up there i like the attic with the guild door look forward to seeing your home finished

I don't really care for that gold color. I plan on replacing them with the black marble when the Freeport city festival arrives next month. They were easy to work with as a temporary measure until then though.

I made the attic when I "patched" the hole in the ceiling, if you can look up and see this, then you are on the top floor:

The attic itself can only be accessed by the teleport pad. I had originally set the guild door in this position because there was a gap in the floor right behind it that you could fall through. But I redid the floor, and that sealed it. I decided to leave the door as I had first placed it, as it kind of looks like it has just been tossed into the attic for storage:

I don't really need the treasure chest in this place, and once multiple housing is released, I will move it to a house that has an upkeep cost, but it kind of fits into the attic.
