View Full Version : Old layout file conversion!

Okay so. I have two guild halls (I have a remarkable amount of free time on my hands, and an immense amount of house items.) I had the T1 for a long while until I decided, "I need more space," grinded the guild to 50, got a T2... Then said, "I should make this place a public laboratory, and keep a T1 as a personal residence." A six month break from the game later I get the second guild to 30 and I have a snazzy new T1, hand-moved all 1050 items BACK to the T1, and copy the layout I had from then from my old PC to my current.

EQ2 kicks me in the daddybags by informing me that the file is not supported.

SOoo. After being informed that there is no direct conversion. I'm hoping to God that the newest version of that third-party layout editor what's name I forget has some brand of auto-convert. If it does not...

Is there any way of possibly opening the old file in one instance of the editor and copying all the item placements over? I really, really do not want to re-place over 130 grobb stone benches for spiral staircases again, or rebuild the pipe organ I had, or the "second floors" or anything. D:

EDIT: Apparently, nevermind! I was misled in how easily it could be fixed (Save layout as is under throway name, New from Diff, mush together - Presto.)
