i'm currently working on my first home in years and using the layout editor - now that i finally have plenty of time on my hands (distracted thought: yay for having time right when an expansion is about to be released!). my girly is a gnome and aspiring tinkerer, so i'm looking for some clockwork/mechanized/industrial meets elegant inspiration. i've been looking around the internet for ideas, but if any of you good people have links or ideas to share with me, i'd be ever so grateful!

Here's something I did a while back that might help you get some ideas. Most of this room has been scrapped for parts... lol literally, but it was really fun to build the robot.

I don't know how elegant this is, but I usually try to make horrible clockwork monsters.

This is my last one, a Cyborg Polar Bear threshing machine.

This is the Toadmobile, which is relatively benign I suppose.

This is the first one I made, I figured the Clockwork Menace Trophy head by itself was a little bit boring so I built it a body. This was before the Warscale Wing Trophy was out so I could give it legitimate wings. No room in the guild hall anyway, I suppose.

It's got a little bit of control panel area in the back, and the only thing I could think of for a tale was an alligator plushie. The rest of the alligator was discarded.

This is a relatively easy one to make, you just get a froglok mannequin and dress him up in the Gnomish Heritage Armor. I think the Froglok one looks a lot better than the Human one. Haven't tried Dwarf, though.
