Ok ... so here's my kitchen in Halas - I did splurge when they had the 50% off station cash and used the Castellum furniture because I loved the look of it. Everything was placed old school - no layout editor (I'm technotarded so I'm not risking it LOL)

**edited to add : Oasis server - Halas 5 room - under Maribella

Hope y'all enjoy !

This is looking in from the stairs -

This is the eating nook -

An overview of the kitchen again - just a bit closer -

Maribella enjoys displaying all her various jars of oils and herbs as well as her pretty cups and dishes!

This is her stove - she's cooking a soup on top with a lovely roasted turkey inside! The kitchen smells nummy!

Straight on viewing of the stove - she loves that there's shelves in front!

Her sink area --- and as you can see from the counters, she was busy baking this morning too! However, she couldn't help getting into the muffins!

Her refrigerator is fully stocked!

And so is her pantry - stocked with fruits, veggies, various oils and also storage for her vases, serving dishes, etc.

Thanks for the great comments! I was a tad worried with all the fancy layout-editor decor that my kitchen would just be considered "eh" ...

The book is the Creepy Creatures Catalog -- I believe it's from the Night of the Dead questline - but I've had it for about 4 years so I'm not sure if it's something still offered.

the layout editor is just a tool, don't sweat it, you did a great job i believe this is the first time i've seen a full kitchen in castellum, looks great - nicely done!

I absolutely *love* this elegant kitchen! About how many pieces of the Castellum did it take you to put that together?

Very beautiful!

Also....

*starts rant*

As I said, many times before, editing layout files does not substitute creativity. People can edit layout files and still make a mediocre decoration. People can also do it all old school and make something very cool as it is the case here.

Layout editing is just another tool in the decorator's arsenal. There is yet a program to be invented that can substitute human creativity. As long as you have confidence on your creativity, and you are happy with your house, post away, regardless of method used to decorate! I am sure there will be at least a couple posts and visits of people who enjoyed your house.

*end rant*
