View Full Version : The Soup Kitchen expanded

A long time ago, a young warden by the name of Chibichan started up a soup kitchen in Beggar's Court, Freeport, Lucan D'Lere.

Apparently she was doing such a good job keeping those in need from being grumpy and rebellious, that her landlord was encouraged to give her some additional room.

As her kitchen was doing well as it was, she decided to add a place for the less fortunate to stay.

Next to a few plaques mentioning those doners who were willing to be identified, are the beds and lockers for the smaller follk.

On the other side of the room are the beds and lockers for the larger folk

Sadly, after all the beds were added, there was only enough room for a one size fits all none bathroom

And for a better view, without the privacy wall...

Oh, and I do wish to note, if happened to catch the apparently minor difference between the top of the original soup oven (original post) and as it looks today ...

Thanks for stopping by Gnobrin!

~ Cerilynn

(Edit 01: I just noticed in the last picture, for some reason, the tub faucet did not render. )

(Edit 02: For those who wish to visit in person, and wish to explore the whole place, it is advised you send a smaller ambassador, as the taller might find Chibichan's personal area a bit cramped. She is a halfling after all.)

Just visited the place. It is small but cozy. I am sure everyone who stops by to eat or spend a night has a good time.

I also really liked your idea of using books to build the sides of the balconies on the kitchen side. The different sized beds and lockers on the additional room was a nice touch as well. I like when people think of those little details.

Great work!

How sweet: I couldn't think of a better place for a soup kitchen than Beggar's Court. Well done and now at least we know where to send them

Thanks,

Cloudrat

Great upgrade - I'm glad you were able to expand and help more of the population there. Love the one size fits description on the bath!

always nice to see someone utilizing the smaller housing i like how you used a xegonite bowl inside a wooden bucket so it'd still steam but fit the decor the lockers & the little step stool are cute
