I noticed the chat channels were down again, so I couldn't ask there. Just curious if anyone came accross any new Moonlight Enchantments goodies?

same old stuffs.

only newer items were those city festival selling the doors where they stop at.

they do need quite few new items adding for 2011.

they need few more grotto locations.

Sinking Sands, Sundered Frontier, Tenebrious Tangles, Timmerious Deep, Moors of Ysheka, and Isle of Mara, but it like asking too much of thier time to adding new locations.

If they're going to add new ones, they have to put it in places that lowbies can access. TT and SS aren't low enough. All the beginning zones, are, though.

That means they could add them to Halas and Commonlands. Or actually anyplace in a safe area very near a spire or druid ring. The spire island in SF for example. Mara would also work.

Or out near the rice fields. . . .anyone can go to that part of Mara.

Isle of Mara would be a nice place for a new grotto location, but they NEED to use the Conservatory zone to build a new one. That zone is just begging to be used as a Grotto.

As long as the location is accessible without combat or stealth, any zone is fair game for a Grotto Here's a few spots I'd suggest, mainly because of their scenic charm. These four spots would open up a jungle, a desert, a forest, and an icy plain for Grotto content:

Timorous Deep, just down the path from the top entrance of Gorowyn, near where Askr is at. There's a great little ledge about midway down the path with a large tree on it that would be a perfect spot -- the view here is great! TD and Kunark offer a huge selection of trees, plants, plushies, and terrain tiles for consideration here, as well as some neat ideas for temporary mounts.

Sinking Sands, across from the docks in the oasis where Numair has set up camp. There's no aggro mobs here or along the path here from the docks (Hatar will path through this area, but it's pretty easy to spot a 50 foot tall sand giant ghost before you're in aggro range ). SS and PoF offer a wonderful selection of cactus, desert rocks, sandy tiles, mob illusions, and animal plushies for inclusion here -- and camel mounts too, like the unicorns and carpets!

Toxxulia Forest, just out from the Toxxulia Forest Station. There's a large tree to one side and a large rock outcropping to the other, both very easily accessible without aggroing the locals -- a Grotto could be tucked against either. (If I can run a level 30 there to do daily crafting quests and not get killed once, I'm pretty sure anyone can ) The Conservatory ALONE could fill this Grotto with scrummy goodness, but Sundered, Stonebrunt, and the various instances all offer a nice selection of plants, trees, furniture decor, mobs, and animals for consideration as well.

Erollis, near the end of the blocked ice ramp behind Gwenevyn's Cove, overlooking the Icemane Plains. The ramp has a great view and is easy to get to, though a bit of a hike if you come in from the New Halas docks (but still not as far off the beaten path as Greater Fay hehe!). Frozen trees, velium-infused rocks, Coldain-inspired decor, ice crystals and icy tiles of various designs... I can see this as a Grotto based on a Coldain spiritworld, the perfect fit for New Halas.

A lava style grotto (zone art from VP *grin*) would be cool. A grotto where we're not doing something to help nature and be kind to bunnies would be great.

hmm, that's a good idea! Sort of like Tainted Grottos My Necro would definately approve!

Sinking sands close to the dock would be safe enough as long as it is not too far out.

During the druid ring event, I could not take my low level to the SS ring. She could not make it to the ring. I tried a dozen times, and dozen different ways. Once she actually made it inside the ring and got attacked anyway, while inside, so that was my cue to give up.

Agree with Rijaki, evil grotto is a splendid idea. Not that I'm against good-aligned theme... But something different for the darker side of decorating would be nice (well and the lore that would go with it too).

It would be great to get a lava pool and/or lava fountain, for example.

I love the idea of a lave themed grotto.
