I agree. Right now guild hall decoration feels a lot more constrained than a 6/7-room house due to item count. I won't even compare it to the Craig State since I won't have one for many years to come.... But I bet that would make me even less happy considering the size of the place is comparable with a T1 guild hall and has more item count with all the expanders.

I complately agree on this. Guild Halls should have a higher limit than personal homes. Trying to decorate a t3 with only 1,500 items can leave some rooms rather bare, because it's such a large place.

I would hope that they address some of the issues associated with such large item limits first before expanding it. I myself do not have such a problem, but I know it has been troublesome for some guild members who crash and get stuck in large guildhalls/houses due to too many items being loaded to memory. In such cases they remain stuck unless they either have someone else with a better computer log them in and move them, or get help through a petition. That of course isn't counting the ridiculous load time.

wasnt there a thread abt this last week? NO, pls, NO! the lag in one of my guild halls is beyond absurd. they have almost 700 items packed into the tier 1 qeynos hall. this is a terrible idea. it's to the point to where i abhor going to the guild hall and avoid if at all possible. just bc you can pack stuff in, doesnt mean that you should. that guild hall is the ONLY place that i get lag in the game. please do NOT allow more items, pls. please NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you put just a little level of detail in a tier 3 GH like a kitchen or a tradeskill hall, you have to give up rooms. When I enter our GH on AB it makes me so unhappy when I think about all the empty space and about the fact that I cannot decorate the beach we broke out to.

Greetings Mu!

/agrees also .. the large guild halls now particularly with the break out feature can easily accommodate a much larger item count

The crafted dimensional pocket expander (+100) works on guild halls. The guild leader has to be the one to use it though.

Yeah - bump all the guild halls by 300. That should really be fun with lag!

Merry Merry!

No you can't. At least not according to Domino:

DominoDev wrote:

It applies to the character, and therefore to the house that character owns. Guildhalls are not owned by characters in the same way and this item has nothing to do with them.

Whether we will make some guild expander in the future is not something we've discussed yet, so I can't confirm or deny.
