When I tried updating today I received a message like this when I wsa told the update failed.

C:program filesSonyEverquestIILp_temppacsChar_XXXXXXXXXXXXXX X

It did not stay up long enough but you get the picture.

I am running XP64. I have looked at all the other update failed information and can not find a resolution to this. Please explain in human speak how to resolve this or just roll back your update and get it fixed right. This seems to be an ongoing issue when you make a change to the updater, you never properly test it.
