<p>So messing around with EQ2X Last night, I logged in to 80+ frames per second. After pushing the settings to "Extreme Quality" and expecting my computer to screech to a halt (even though it's pretty hefty) the machine was averagoing about 30-50 FPS at that setting, only dipping below the 20 mark around some campfire I found...</p><p>I read other people's experiences with performance on the new UI and the new client, and wanted to see for myself. I was VERY impressed...</p><p>So the questions are: Will these performance gains be seen on EQ2 Live any time soon? Are the performance gains in EQ2X related to the new UI or are there some optimizations to the engine not yet in EQ2 Live?</p><p>I use ProfitUI on EQ2 Live--does that cause a large hit to performance? if performance Is #1 prioroty, is default UI the only way to go?</p><p>AanakGuk</p>
