Is there a race that outshines a lot of others for this class?

I did a search in the Inq area before asking, last response to the question was 6/1/09.

Thanks much.

the only real advantage to any race is the one you find most appealing to look at.

nah... barbarians... they are uber at everything... remember, they are gods after all (born from the marr twins (both of wich are gods, ergo: Barbarian are gods )

I would look at the racial traits to help decide. Since Inqusitors get a water breathing buff you don't need any race with water breathing passives or spells (i.e. frogloks, Erudites), and you also don't need racial traits having to do with stealth or poisons (i.e. ratonga's and wood elves). Judging by what I have seen, and my main is a templar (froglok, mostly because I made him before SOE actually made races somewhat different aside from looks), I would say one of these:

Dwarf (good defensive traits if you want to go melee and a natural disarm passive if you plan to solo a lot)

Kerran (fun for tracking and feral rage if you like to run away, no shame in the later)

Ogre (Immune to stun skill, beastly defensive traits)

To be honest it's really up to how you like to play a character. Most racial's won't have TOO much of an effect on how good your class is, just makes some aspects of the game easier and more fun.

You can get a good run down of all the passives/traits here.

in pvp perspective and due to the inquis capacity.

go for a track or mobility.

for mobility : FaE-Arasai :Slow fall+Glibe = domination ion that field, also you can add th e+50 runspeed in combat short buff. Being a small race too help. Nothing beat the feeling of jumping around pillars or shortcutting some dungeons part by a big air dominance strategy : p

Sure T9 mount got the slow fall, but with Arasai you got glibe+slow fall+speed burst at level 1. Easy leveling and pvp survival.

I'd say that for the most part, the innate racials that add flavor are the racials you should look at. Tracking, speed boosts, 20% size increase, anything that sounds fun to you.

All of the selectable racials won't really mean anything at 80+
