Are you (the developers) gonna ever update EQ2 to DX 10/11.....

Also I must say I run a fairly beefy system (Intell Core I7 3.3 Ghz EE 8 Gigs of Ram and 2 Nvidia 280s in SLI mode) and With the release of New Halas I noticea LOT of Lag...Since I am on a dedicated T1 connection I know its NOT my IC, the lag is so bad that doing Tradeskill Writs in the zone is next to impossable with major delay beween my hitting the counter buttons and them actually taking effect (average 5 seconds spikes to 10 seconds) if I go into a tradeskill instance such as in Willowwood I do not get this problem at all....also I normaly run with all settings at Maximum and average 117 FPS.... if I turn on 3.0 Shaders My FPS drops to an unplayable 12-17 FPS...there seems to be some errors in your coding please correct these issues.

Doubtful. Windows XP's still fairly popular, and since it doesn't support DX10/11 I don't see SOE ever coding their games for higher than DX9. Also, the EQ2 client's pretty stable and I don't see SOE investing a lot of time and effort into a major graphics engine rewrite (especially given that the only result of the rewrite would be to make the game inaccessible to at least some subscribers).

I see no point in DX10 or better support.

Curious why someone would pay for a T1 in 2010.

The devs won't rewrite the game engine as they simply don't have the manpower to do so.

Your SLI configuration, and for that part most of your video card period is going to waste. EQ2 is still governed by about 75-80% of your CPU, not GPU like in practically every other game.
