<p>Please put a mandatory jumpy boot quest into all new content areas. Make it impossible to get to lvl 2 with out completing the quest. The quest could be as simple as using the boots to jump onto a wall. The actual quest would highlight the concept that this is a fantasy MMO and that stepping off the yellow brick road is indeed ok. </p><p>The quest would entail simple concepts such as teaching all new players how to use a hotbar to equip two different items in a sequential order. The final phase might actually involve having the new player jump from one object to another while a "ranger class mob" is shooting at them from up top of a very high wall. The goal will be for the player to actually have to think about how to get to the top of the wall by making 2-3 jumps onto other walls. </p><p>A twist in the quest would be to allow the "mob" to actually jump off the wall and shoot up at the player character thus teaching the new player to also pack a parachute or floaty cloak. </p><p>This quest would really appeal to people who have never learned to a.) think for themselves or b.) have never played super mario bros. </p><p>The quest reward could be a free pair of jumpy boots because clearly there are alot of lvl 90's out there too poor to afford the 50 silver to 5 gold boots to begin with.</p>
