First, I enjoy the majority of the PvE content in EQ2.

Second, I play on a PvP server for the unique experience it provides. But this 'unique' experience is being whittled away bit by bit every day. Every time something on the PvP servers changes that the Blue herd doesn't like in their precious 'Battlegrounds', they hide behind a 'content trivializing' or 'game breaking' boulder.

I know many people enjoy the Battlegrounds, both red and blue, but the PvP servers should not be mixed with the PvE servers. This has already proven to lend itself towards minimizing the unique quality that is EQ2 PvP. *hard core PvP flames incoming*

We need a clear cut seperation from PvP and PvE. It seems like every other day there is some Blue Server 'know it all' posting in the PvP server forum because they think that playing in 'Betagrounds' makes them a PvP expert. *it might be the same ruleset but it behaves NOTHING like open world PvP*

So I ask you, the developers, seperate the PvP server Battlegrounds from the PvE server Battlegrounds and let us keep the unique flavor of our rulsets and rewards that we have come to appreciate and work for.

*here come the flames*

I agree that they made alot of changes in pvp. But it´s sad to loose many players to figth in the BG.

They should only make fixes in BG and not touch it in the pvp.

The changes that we have endured needlessly due to PvE server gripes, grounded primarily in BG experiences, need to be stopped.

Asking for a fix that they don't know how to fix can result in things you may not like. People asked for the starting isles to get a revamp.. result.. they removed them. They may separate blue/red by removing the red. They could throw all of you on a blue server and tell you if you want to pvp, play BG's. PvP players are the minority in this game.

That was just dumb.

To band aid the situation they lower the population cap on the zone. While not spawning the WF in the newer instances, which was the whole reason the population cap was placed in.

To be honest, as long as our unique flavor is preserved, I could care less about the 'Betagrounds' and what they do with them. Just keep the perverbial 'line in the sand' drawn and stop letting blue server cry babies dictate what happens to the PvP server gear.
