Since the advent of warfields, we're actually seeing some decent open world pvp - which is great. Still, I have four minor requests which I believe could improve the pvp experience a lot:

1) Please give us an option to target the 'next attackable pvp target' via hotkey. Currently, the 'next hostile pvp target' option will target any player of an opposing faction, including greys and people in immunity. Considering that you will often find 50+ people beating the living daylight out of each other, this is rather annoying if you factor in the huge amount of lag we've been experiencing.

2) Warfields added some degree of a 'strategic' component to pvp. At the very least, you have to coordinate your forces a little between the towers. EQ2 already has a nice waypoint system, and by typing /loc you can always get your current coordinates. What i would love to see is a feature where you can click any given set of coordinates in the chat and automatically create a waypoint.

3) Please consider putting people in combat when rezzing members of the engaged group. I tested this out yesterday: My T4 templar was standing right in the middle of CLs zergfest (not attackable for anyone), and i was able to reanimate fallen guildies. Admittedly, reanimate will only resurrect someone with a minimum of health, but again, think about the lag in the zone. If a healer gets a rezz window, he can accept and immediately spam some self heals. Before the other team even has a chance to react, he can be back at full health. He'll be low on (but not out of) mana, but thanks to manastones, this is hardly an issue. Greys should not be able to create this kind of imbalance in the game. I don't think that disabling rezzing for greys would be the way to go since this actually adds a nice dimension to the game. I do think, however, that greys should be put in combat as soon as they start the rezz, and become valid targets for the opposing party.

4) One last thing, and i realize that this is a lot more complicated and probably won't be done. Please add a penalty to attacking people that have killed you before. Make the attacker lose status and/or armor durability, or make it so you won't get a pvp update if you're on a person's recent list. Here's the problem with the current system: Lots of people will just attept to kill you over and over and over after they lost a fight, simply to get the update. This is particularly annoying when questing, since at one point or another they'll succeed when you're engaged to a mob. It is even worse when zerging in CL's mass pvp. People will just keep resurrecting and attacking you, until they get lucky or you eventually run out of mana.

yes i agree, a hot key should be avalible to only target enemys who con to you.. if you want to kill a grey have another hotkey to cycle through all targets or just simply manually target them

related to point 1 - why is there no hot key to target next ally? specially in BGs I miss this functionality point 4 is just silly, you want to prevent people from being able to go after you after youve killed them?

Often I charge forwards and am the only person who can get involved. 12 vs 1 is good fun for the 15 seconds my stoneskin works . I'm not talking about everyone in the zone, just something on their bar when close enough.

Not long ago i fought a ranger when questing. He was a few levels below me and kept attacking, so i ended up killing him several times in a row. He kept coming back, sitting at max range, running as soon as i made a move, attacking as soon as i was engaged. If you just play this game long enough, you'll get your kill eventually, especially when going against a clothy. I merely believe that this kind of behavior should be penalized.

What's even worse is people (often 10+ levels below you) standing next to the mass pvp in CL, running in, blindly attacking everybody hoping to get tokens, running out. Eventually they will get their writ updates, no matter how often they're killed off in the process.

So yeah, if you're attacked, you should have a chance to retaliate. If you're the one attacking in the first place, you should actually lose something for trying again and again and again...
