It's that time of year again, when the polish has worn off the expansion IMO there are a few simple things could be done to liven things up, or at least make them less of a drag:

- Allow useless masters to count towards research. The current loot tables favor bruiser/necro/conjy masters to an absurd degree (beyond random noise)- I'd love to burn a bruiser master to reduce research time by, say, 7 days. It'd make running instances more worthwhile- right now the odds of a master I need dropping are essentially nil.

- More scaled zones (and fix the ones that do scale to 90 to drop all marks instead of marks and shards).

- Set an internal tag on vendor trash such that when I go to a vendor, I can "sell all vendor trash", instead of having to go down a list and sell each trash item individually. You KNOW what these items are, you know they're trash, just set a tag in them so they can be filtered, and let us use the filter. Or quit dropping so much vendor trash and drop more coin.

- A greater variety of adornments. A lot of potential here, wasted.

What does that have to do with endgame?

That is a good idea about the vendor trash loot. I'd still like it to drop rather than coin, but I like the idea of being able to sell all of it at once.

WoW - I can't keep up with the ones that are in game - but I do like how you can put one type adornment on several different pieces. I like the simplified system vs the old sytem of having to look up what I can get for shoulders and who does which adornment for the shoulder piece. Then go through it all over again for helm, boots, neck, bracelet - weapon - which type weapon, etc.

And finally..... what does this have to do with being capped at 90/250?????

Mathafern, I don't think ennui means what you think it means.

Maybe you meant to say "Endgame tedium"... That is what you are describing.

I think the real problem is your seeming version of 'endgame' is just being 90, while other peoples version of 'endgame' is being 90/250 and probably raiding higher end content.

I dont get people who dont like raiding, dont like grouping, dont like PVP/BG, dont like questing, dont like grinding solo marks for mark gear that rush to "endgame" and then complain there is nothing left for them to do?Honestly all the SOLO content in the game is the journey from 1-90 and the 250AA you gain along the way. When you Skip all the solo content then refuse to chronomentor down to do all the content you skip because you outleveled the content and rewards and then complain there is no solo content whose choice was that?

Soe provides MANY options to soloers. If you REALLY enjoy solo content. Turn off your combat XP, level off the quests or turn off your quest xp and level off of combat. I garauntee you will have more fun finding quest rewards that provide small upgrades along the way, soloing.

He OP did not provide ANY feedback they just complained they skipped the content and are bored now they have no content left.

Here is my feedback for SOE. I beleive the contested hole needs at least an addtional 15 non repeatable quests for each faction within the hole that reward marks of manaar and faction (45+ quests). I beleive each faction at max faction should provide a daily repeatable for a mark (no faction needed).

This way a solo/small group person can acquire up to 5 mark of manaars a day questing repeatables when they obtain max faction w all 3 factions. I beleive the mark of manaar armour needs to be slightly upgraded. this would provide soloers and small groupers repeatable content and an upgradeable path. I would like to see the arena revamped in a SOLO type instance/ring event. This ARENA would be like a solo version of a gladiator event. Where the SOLO payer would have to fight each ARENA pet in a solo combat. Rewards for beating each stage would be the ability to receive that particular arena pet to use with the creature conjuror for guild halls (add a new personal home creature conjuror that summons the solo version of pets only) maybe occassionally a title every 5 stages, appearance armour with stats equivilant to a level 40's set gear and some house items. There are 25 arena pets meaning this could be at least 25 stages to reward a solo player. The arena pets could progressively get harder and harder. Add a merchant outside of qeynos/freeport/majdul that sells these arean rewards.

Now why would i recommend lvl 40 set gear? Because this is the weakest itemization level in eq2 and also the point were alot of accounts drop off. If we provide them w gear to bridge the gap from 40-50+ it might encourage these accopunts to stay active until they grind to that lvl 70+ range where the content is more current. Lvl 70+ do not really need any gear other then the shard/mark armour then can already acquire.
