<p>Currently the CL zone has crashed twice in the last 5 min due to warfields pvp..</p><p>Can we get some new hamsters or better servers for the clant zones?</p><p>It should be possible to make some high-performance servers specially made for warfields that would reduce the lag. Please! <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> /hug</p>

<p>What completely astounds me is that there is already a mechanic IN PLACE in the coding to alleviate this problem. It just isn't coded, it would seem, to be for the old Shattered Lands zones.</p><p>Remember KP1,2,3......9 anyone?</p>

<p>Actually, I remember that we (nagafen) got a HUGE hardware upgrade right around the release of TSO if I recall correctly. Supposedly it was a MAJOR overhaul of our hardware. /shrug.</p>

<p>From the tiny bit I know about this stuff, I'm wondering if it's actual bandwidth out vs. server capacity. Servers aren't expensive, but a larger pipe out to the internet is.</p>

<p>Does any devs actually play warfields on nagafen at prime time? ignore the lag, ignore that some goes ld, but please don't ignore that the zones goes ld on us!</p>

Outnumbered in Antonica 1? Sod it!</p><p><em>"Everyone jump over to Ant 2 and let's burn Qeynos to the ground!"</em></p><p>IMO it HAS to be in one instance. If it's purely a # of players deal though then just cap it.</p><p><em>"Sorry, CL is closed right now, Moose outside should've told you."</em></p><p>Personally I'd rather not be able to get into the zone at all because I was late than be in the zone for the full duration and get jack squat because the server crashed as has happened <span style="font-size: large;"><em><strong>every single time</strong></em></span> I've been on the offensive team.</p>

<p>Update Notes:</p><p>PVP WARFIELDSA new spell effect will now let you know if you will be rewarded for participation in the Warfields. ·  You gain the effect by reporting to one of the towers during the event.·  The effect will cease being distributed 2 minutes prior to when the event timer ends.  Additional detriments have been added to the Tower Guardian defense shields that affect those under level 9.</p><p>What we were told would be update:</p><p>(PvP) Warfields</p><ul><li><span style="color: #ff0000;">Antonica and Commonlands have had their population count reduced and a new instance will spawn once the number is reached. </span></li><li><span style="color: #ff0000;">The new instance will also start the timer for a Warfield in that zone.  </span></li><li>A new spell effect will now let you know if you will be rewarded for participation in the Warfields. </li><li>You gain the effect by reporting to one of the towers during the event. </li><li>The effect will cease being distributed 2 minutes prior the event timer ends.  </li><li>Additional detriments have been added to the Tower Guardian defense shields that affect those under level 9. </li><li>Towers will now display correctly in each zone regardless of distance and setting.</li></ul><hr /><p>So what we are seeing is that they had plans to make things better but those went on the back burner, probably to use manpower to make some more Station Cash items to shove down our throats...</p><p>Point is server cant handle it, map cant handle it, see my above post regarding the warfields and SOE in general TBH...</p>

<p>What's super annoying as well is that right now it's basically free 15tokens for Qeynos everytime a WF is up, UNLESS a handful of FP actually stands in the way of the zerging Q's, leading to a zonecrash.</p><p>usually Sony is super fast on shutting down exploitable events. Why is Qeynos still allowed to flood CL with 150 people ? it's not even remotely playable, it's just "here, take 15 tokens for being a zerg", WF after WF. when you actually "fix" the problem, by either providing servers that are better then your Atari you use right now, or by limiting people count per  zone, Qeynos will have dozens if not hundreds of tokens piled up already.</p><p>Further more it's mind numbing how Rothgar acts all surprised saying he thinks the lag "might" be caused by the number of players in zone rather then the WF event. Give me a F**** break !!! this has been happening for the last years !! how is this surprising ?? you couldn't anticipate the lag when coming up with the idea ? So much fail....</p>

So much fail....</p></blockquote><p>I think you need to look into your own faction for answers on this one... the fact is that most freeps like to play lowbies and leech in Sinking sands.... all of which can do ZERO to stop the Q's from killing guards..... the T9's out there dont seem to come out more then once a day if that... i guess they are scared to lose fame?  not quite sure, but when freeporters come out, they can do some damage, problem is, most of them nowadays are leeching lowbies or frightened kitty cats scuuured for a fight...</p><p>dunno, ask in channels why freeps get slaughtered on their home turf as well as in Antonica...</p>
