It'd be very nice to have an 'observer' mode on BGs. Besides the fact that it would be nice to be able to just watch the tactics of other groups/raids, it would also give us a chance to organize our UI for that server, etc.

It sounds like a good idea but I honestly dont think its worth the dev time or trouble, not to mention the possable exploits that could come from it.

They already stole from WoW, why not steal from Guild Wars now.

But they should put in an observe mode. And with that a tournement series where you're guild gets ranked and has ranked battles Vs. other guilds al while keeping the matches stored so they can be watched by other guilds. Kinda like scouting>

This would make it way too easy for two or more people in the same household. One observes, and feeds information on the other side to his/her roomates. I hope they don't implement this idea.

So it woudn't be stealing from guild wars... learn to read

oh the exploits you could do... We had the same thing in counter strike. One of us would die on purpose and he would tell us where everyone else was.

But I don't think Unreal Tournament video would be quit up to pare with what I'm talking about. In GW you can watch the specific character, see the abilities being cast by them, while watching the group set up, change to another character on the team at will, see statistics, and all that jazz. I've never really gotten into UT but its a little more about reaction timing since its a shooter right?

But the only difference would be the fact battles in GW could go on for hours, since it was impossible to 1 shot someone, or even 2 shot them.

lol ... my experience in the EQ2 battlegrounds is that crap is moving so fast that telling people what others are doing would be a moot point. Besides, the same concept could be done with people that are actually playing the BG anyway.

Ok -- I can live without an observer mode. But, could we at least have a "lobby" zone where we could organize our hotbars, UI, etc?

On that same topic, it'd be nice to have longer to organize groups, buffs, etc. before the match begins. I feel like the whole thing is so hurried at the beginning that there is no time to discuss strats, make optimal groups, etc.

Thing is it is going on so fast, not much u can do. And they can make a icon set to click to allow people to watch me , or something like that. all kinds of ways to correct the worried player. but trust me , it's not the concern you think it is. especially not in klak
