The fresh poms we harvest are lovely and I'd like one for my kitchen. I'm not quite so fond of the rotting fruit house items. I'm sure there are many creative uses for the overripe poms, but oh to have one of those plump fresh red beauties!

The only thing I could really think to do with all my rotting fruit was to stick it all in my necro's shrine to Anashti. Guess it could also work well as an offering to Bertoxx, too.. :p Maybe also in a haunted house or something.. I definietly agree though, the rotting fruit has its uses, but some fresh fruit would be amazing! Fresh individual pomegranates, pieces of them, a fresh basket of them.. any and/or all would be really great. My provisioner would love it, that's for sure!

Soon as layouts come back, I'm sticking my basket under the frog pond I"m working on so my froggie is surround by his favorite meal Does the single fruit-overripe pomegranite have flies too? It doesn't look overly bad on the counter, but I don't remember if it has flies..

Another thought is hiding them under 'bodies' for NotD to make them rotting corpses. Thats always fun

Yes fresh ones for the kitchen would be great

The baskets I take for a ~20g vendor item (how many bushels of fruit can any decorator use?). But the single ripe, round iconic pomergranate would be cool to have.

I haven't seen Lady Domino divulge what cool stuff may happen for Shard of Love in the future, but since at some point the access quest will be removed, I would not be too suprised to see new stuff be added to the zone as well.

And -- random idle tangental thought -- what interior decorator was Erollisi using when they built her Garden of Lingering Sentiment without stairs or a walkway to access it?? When the goddess is feeling more herself and reincarnates, she REALLY needs to hire Galldora or Tock or any of the other fabulous decorators to revamp her gardens!!

Ultani is my 43 inquisitor (75 woodworker) with adventuring turned off! She did the access to SoL, but can't enter it since lvl 50 is the lowest level allowed! heh!

I use the basket of rotting poms as a "garbage bin" in appropriate places... the single over-ripe pom's for additional cushions, but I have yet to invent a good use for the rotten piece of a pomegranate. Perhaps, in time, inspiration will come, but at present 'tis eluding me. *shrugs*

Agreed, ripe fresh versions would be at least equally useful - if not more so!

Does anyone have a picture of the overripe ones? I looked on Everseek and didn't see them. Also, how do you get them? Something I can use as more pillows would be cool, though I don't think any of my characters would display rotten fruit as rotten fruit.

I agree that we need more fresh fruit and veggies for our kitches. Single and bunches of them. A bunch of carrots for instance or a head of lettuce or cabbage? Pomegranets would be wonderful single and maybe a plate or bowl with several in them.

Ayalin

koi koi koi! And Water Squares Too!

Both come from the Shard of Love (scaling 50+ instance), droped from the named Fairy from the garden ring event - if I remember right, anyway. (You can probably find some on the broker, as well.)

I bet a fresh version is coming soon. The Shard of Love is only the beginning after all.

I've ran most of my higher level toons through SoL... my Troll Provisoner's bank is full of over-ripe and rotting pomegranates now. Not that he minds... leave a little pomegrante ale out to attrack the Barbarians and Dwarves (made with the rotten/rotting fruit, of coarse) and when they're all grabbing thier stomaches... pounce... nice big slab of steak. Works great to catch Halflings too... but ya gotta use the pomegrantes in pie... heheheh...

One a serious note, while the over-ripe and rotten pomegrantes will eventually end up in my Trolls kitchen (if/when I ever decide to work on it,) I know my non-Troll alts would love some fresh pomegrantes. A basket like the one SoL offers, only instead having fresh pomegrantes, would go great in any kitchen. (Actually, any basket of fruits/veggies would be really cool...)

I could undertand a place of Hate giving rotten items but I'd have thought a place of Love would give something more wholesome.

You do occasionally find a ripe fresh pomegranate in there (for provisioning, not a house item), but most of the zone isn't doing so well given what's happened there..
