<p><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif; color: #ff99cc;">I've been working on my coercer's stronghold, but have to have the layouts to finish some of the rest.  I thought I'd share what I have so far, however, and then post and update as I go along.  Thank you to all the other designers who are so inspiring.  I'm sure I have 'borrowed' ideas here and there.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif;">The Entry -</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif;">I noticed that one pillar is missing, on the right side, due to the layouts issues.  Ayalin is visiting Loping Plains to try to solve the mystery of the haunted house, so I thought I'd update this shot after she gets back to Freeport.</span></p><p><img src="http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w190/Avalyssa/ayalinshouse/entry1.jpg" /></p><p><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif;">When you enter, there is a nice fireplace to warm up with.  Eventually, there will be a luxerious carpet in front and a couple of couches.</span></p><p><img src="http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w190/Avalyssa/ayalinshouse/frontroom1.jpg" /></p><p><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif;">The bar area where a visitor can have a drink before going off to other areas, or maybe just stay here for some conversation.</span></p><p><img src="http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w190/Avalyssa/ayalinshouse/bar1.jpg" /></p><p><img src="http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w190/Avalyssa/ayalinshouse/bar2.jpg" /></p><p><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif;"></span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif;">In the next room, an aclove with a display cabinet provides an area for a longer visit.  More items will be added.</span></p><p><img src="http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w190/Avalyssa/ayalinshouse/display1.jpg" /></p><p><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif;">The kitchen has not been done yet, so let's visit the upstairs.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif;">The landing provided a nice area for a small library, however, Ayalin wants to expand this into the new room that was recently added onto her stronghold, and perhaps add a fishtank and area to display portraits here.</span></p><p><img src="http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w190/Avalyssa/ayalinshouse/library1.jpg" /></p><p><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif;"></span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif;">To the left is the entry to the bedroom.</span></p><p><img src="http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w190/Avalyssa/ayalinshouse/library2.jpg" /></p><p><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif;">The bedroom needs some final touches - pillows on the bed.  (waiting on layouts) Another cozy fireplace provides warmth. </span></p><p><img src="http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w190/Avalyssa/ayalinshouse/bedroom1.jpg" /></p><p><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif;">Turning to the bathroom, stained glass gives some elegance to the doorway.</span></p><p><img src="http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w190/Avalyssa/ayalinshouse/stainedglass1.jpg" /></p><p><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif;">From the other side.  (need to add some final touches)</span></p><p><img src="http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w190/Avalyssa/ayalinshouse/stainedglass2.jpg" width="732" height="622" /></p><p><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif;">At the end of a long day, Ayalin adores relaxing in her bath.  It has modern conveniences of course!</span></p><p><img src="http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w190/Avalyssa/ayalinshouse/bathroom1.jpg" /></p><p><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif;">Grab a towel from the closet.</span><img src="http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w190/Avalyssa/ayalinshouse/bathroom2.jpg" /><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif;">And step into the bath.</span></p><p><img src="http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w190/Avalyssa/ayalinshouse/bathroom3.jpg" /></p><p><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif;">That's the end of the tour so far.   I will add more as more gets done and as Ayalin collects more in her adventures.  Thank you for looking, and I look forward to comments or suggestions.</span></p>

<p>It's very nice!  I really like the effect you created with the redwood bookcase. I've always found them to be pretty on the side and thought there had to be a way to display them.  YOu did a perfect job!</p>

<p>Thank you, all.   I'm glad someone else appreciates the redwood bookcases.  The middle panel in the library also uses them.  <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>
