I removed the crows, I removed the Halloween books, I removed the bone sculptures/trophies etc. Something must be new this year to make the zombie go hog wild again. What is it? The bone wall divider? The scarecrow plushie? I hope it is not my sarcophagus lids because I just finished an aquarium & game tables out of those and this zombie won't stop popping up.

I find those zombies very annoying when they constantly pop up. Why not just remove it?

It turned out to be a bone trophy that got placed in the house by mistake. It wasn't visible though. I had to find it on the door.

No, please DON'T remove him! At least, please don't remove him from the crows. I have a flock of zombie crows, and the zombies are what makes the stairway leading down to my vampire lair so scary when you get lost there in the dark.

Geez...doesn't anybody like to be SPOOKED anymore?

Made ya scream!" Spooky, but hardly shocking in my book.

I remember fondly the very first time the zombie appeared in my home, a few years ago when the crow was introduced. It was around 3am and I was groggily arranging a few house items (including, of course, my brand new crow!) when, "GAH!!! What was that?!" My heart slammed in my chest and I let out an audible little scream. I'd never seen anything like that in my home before! Where did it come from? When I finally realized what it was that had given me such a start, I really got a good laugh out of it. It was such a classic "BOO!! Gotcha!" These days, tho, I see the zombie as an old friend. If he jumps out and gets in my way, I push him aside.

If you don't like the zombie, why not just take the zombie items out of your house? Why is it necessary to get rid of the zombies?

Because I actually like the crow and would love to be able to use him in my decorating again. But my poor heart can NOT take that zombie guy. I don't handle that stuff well unfortunately, and I run for the door of any house in which I come across old Crow or Bone Trophy.

At least an option to turn it off would satisfy me. As long as it wasn't one of those options that would accidentally turn itself back on when you zone out or after a patch.

Don't come to our 'hood haunted barn... heh... we have our own zombies.... warped floors with moving walls, electric "toilet" chair, hangman, creeky old car with zombies... I play the angel of death with the moving walls... LOL

In the 7 years we've done this, it never fails - the kids laugh and go through it again and again...... the women screem, then laugh and go through it at least one more time .... and the men? LOL well, they say nothing, but run out of it as fast as they can.. and no, they do not go back again. Of course, they say - it's kid's stuff or they'd rather be partying with the live band we have or enjoy the kegs!

BTW, we also have a huge jar - everyone must put their car/truck keys in.... if you can fish them out, then you are sober enough to drive hom. If not - hit one of the tents & sleeping bags in the yard... it's free!

Oh, I am SO jealous of all of those crows!! I was taking an EQ2 break that year

The zombie question comes up every year... Personally I think they are a hoot and I was very disappointed that they took out the final "scare" of the city haunted houses this year, but I can understand how some folks dislike them. I have to say I have been known to scare myself silly when I start decorating and forget I have a bone sculpture in the house... nothing like having a zombie popup in your face while staring close trying to line up a piece of furniture, rofl. They do seem to be turned off in guild halls though. Or at least, last year I filled my guild hall with dozens of them and no one ever mentioned seeing a zombie /pouts.

A zombie jumped out and scared me in the HH this year? Is that the one you mean.

I LOVE the crow..not the zombie which seems unrelated. I swear as I placed him down the first time, he jumpe dup, flapped his wings dna screeched at me. I've not seen it again..I'd love for that to continue.

I LOVE your crow display! I had one but lost it in my server transfer to Bazaar and have missed it so. Imagine my sheer delighted when hubby came in second in the rat race and that was the reward!!!!!!

Hmm, I did the haunted house on several toons this year, and each of them I was ported out of the house right after the last zombie died... no popup zombie at the end. And my understanding is that they are "scare" crows, and when placed in a house also give the zombie effect. I was kinda disappointed when I got the "Raven" plushie in the hollow hedge and it wasn't one of those crows lol, although the one I got is cool too.
