What I would like to see the devs do soon...

Plain colored rugs and tapestrys. Something with no patterns...just a plain color in various shapes(Square, rectangle, circle)! Also would love to see some plain wooden dividers that are complately flat...like the square grass, but flipped! And even maybe some squares with wooden floor options! This I think would help us in being even more creative and not having to spend hours on end placing the paintings just to be able to use the backs of them! I love doing kitchens, but...they take a long time and if you mess up it's hard to fix it just right...the tables are great to work with as countertops, but there can be issues glitching em in there...especially if you've built your top cabinets already! Anyway just putting my two cents out there!

~Neversea - The Pie Rat

I agree. There's a definite need in the game for some floor tiles and wall tiles'. I'd like to see some of the wall tiles in stone textures as well as colors, and maybe some flooring that is parquet or different designs.

I'm having a tapestry issue right now in game. I wanted to use the death's head tapestry over a mirror, but it won't shrink down enough for me, plus there seems to be some funky placement issues with it. Oh well. I'd love to have some swags in game like death's head, but fuller on the ends than it is and able to be scaled to go over windows, etc. of course, in several colors.

We have a plain red tapestry - albiet with a swag at the top, but I'd love some in blue, green, gold, etc. How about strips of 'border' that could be used?

that death's head tapestry can be frustrating to place. it doesn't hang from the top like the others, it rests on the bottom is the best way i can explain it. sometimes i use a redwood divider to place it if it is giving me issues, as those have a nice little molding thing on the bottom which the tapestry can 'rest' on. i dunno if this helps?

Agreed. Having plain rugs and tapestries would help in a lot of things. Same for a plain wood divider. The ones we have now are cool but they don't always work for a certain idea we have.

I agree!

I dislike that EVERY rug has a pattern of some sort. I want some nice wall to wall that doesn't make my eyes hurt or make my stomach turn.

Wall tiles would be swell too, as well as some plain wood/stone panels/dividers.

( I believe i saw that here, but can't remember who did it) I think i've decided to use the painting of the sun god on the sides of my mirror, instead.

A little birdie told me we may be getting a different colored divider; a darker, more consistent brown, but it will likely use the same shape as the redwood divider. Probably not until SF, but more is always better =)

This has been the topic of many a convo and is what we are referring to as back to basics... plain simple items and colours. Squares of grass, ice, wood, sand, water, wall hangings of plain colours, and rugs of the same, these basic building blocks while very plain and simple gives us decorators a ton of new options.

Mistal

Carpenter stuff included.

I have no doubt that we will see new wall dividers, rugs, and maybe even floor tile squares, as carpenter crafted in levels 81-90.

We'll just have to wait until Beta to see for sure though =)

I would love to see basic stuff! Sand water tiles...all that heh...I am hoping this gets back to the devs so that if they haven't given us that for the expansion...maybe they will consider it! Heh I can imagine so many things to be done with just simple tiles and things...decorating is as popular as adventuring and tradeskilling nowadays!

I wish they would remove the bulky trim from the dividers, or make two styles both with and without the trim, I often need just a flat wall to make things out of but the trim on the dividers interferes with the other placements, plus it doesn't allow for seamless linking of them for larger applications.

Just plain flat wall/floor/ceiling stuff would be heavenly.
