a couple of people suggested that i post some screens of my entry for Wayward's paradise garden deco contest on AB, so here they are. i don't usually post screens of my decorating here, because i never finish anything. =P and in fact this isn't finished either. but there was a deadline, so it's as done as it's gonna get. and honestly, i wish i had another week or two to work on it. because it could be tightened up a whole lot, made more seamless and precise, the underlying structure hidden better... but it is how it is. and i hope people like it. =3

and if you'd like to visit the place in person, er in character, anyway, the room is open to the public: Babybel, Longshadow Alley, AB

ETA: broken image HTMLs fixed =)

thank you so much! it's especially nice to get a compliment from you, as i respect your decorating work very much. there are about a dozen decorators who post their designs regularly who i steal from mercillessly, and you are one of them. so i am honored and flattered. =)

but it's not actually all that seamless. LOL i just take strategic screenshots, like the deco version of 'myspace angle' pics. in person there are still lots of places where the seams and the aparatus could be hidden better.

anyway, thank you for your nice comment. i appreciate it a lot.

It looks quite natural. Almost like you just came upon it. The way you hid the griffin fountain so that only the water shows is pretty cool! It makes it look like a natural landscape. Very cool, quiet and serene.

Hmm, I must not have gotten to that one yet. But I'll save any comments until after I've judged all the houses and submitted them to Wayward, hehe.

*Cough* Now accepting bribes!

thank you all so much. *curtsies* comments are love. and these make me so happy. =] and about that bribe... *cough* hehe. actually i'm extremely competitive by nature, but ultimately i don't care about winning, tho it wouldn't be unwelcome. mostly i just wanted to create an enchanted feeling space that made people say 'oh wow!' so, even with all the messy edges (which drive my perfectionist side crazy,) i do consider this a big wewtful success in that way. i also meant to say, someplace, a big huge thanks to Wayward for making such a cool event. and also a big giant thank you to all the awesome carpenters on the server, especially Terial and Crowlii, who i've bought an obscene amount of furnishings from the past few years.
