View Full Version : Tunarian Equinox - Outdoors Edition!

<p>The main problem I had with this was that the indoors area already brought me to 1000/1600 on item count <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" /> With that in mind, I've been trying to limit myself to 300-400 items for the outdoors area, as GU53 is coming soon and I'll need to make more changes again!</p><p>The theme for this area is a "secret garden" that leads the adventurer to a village created by the inhabitants of kelethin. The north gate is under siege by red hot plushies (somewhat unfinished), while the qeynos guard is on their way (unfinished) through the south gate to aid in the defense of the village before they burn the treehouse (almost finished!) down.</p><p>T3 Antonica Hall - The Bazaar. To access this area, take the portal to the secret garden. Enjoy! Sorry for the picture formatting. I don't know how to fix it <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p><a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v468/Harmonastix/?action=view&current=ScreenShot10-1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v468/Harmonastix/ScreenShot10-1.jpg" border="0" /></a> <a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v468/Harmonastix/?action=view&current=ScreenShot11-1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v468/Harmonastix/ScreenShot11-1.jpg" border="0" /></a> <a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v468/Harmonastix/?action=view&current=ScreenShot12-1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v468/Harmonastix/ScreenShot12-1.jpg" border="0" /></a></p><p>This picture gives a good idea of the layout of the houses. <a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v468/Harmonastix/?action=view&current=ScreenShot13-1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v468/Harmonastix/ScreenShot13-1.jpg" border="0" /></a></p><p>One of my favorite pictures. For the first time I can actually use a maximized wall clinging vine! <a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v468/Harmonastix/?action=view&current=ScreenShot14-1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v468/Harmonastix/ScreenShot14-1.jpg" border="0" /></a></p><p>A view from the evil side. I need more plants! <a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v468/Harmonastix/?action=view&current=ScreenShot3-4.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v468/Harmonastix/ScreenShot3-4.jpg" border="0" /></a></p><p>A view inside one of the homes. I didn't detail these homes too much yet due to item count. <a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v468/Harmonastix/?action=view&current=ScreenShot4-2.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v468/Harmonastix/ScreenShot4-2.jpg" border="0" /></a> <a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v468/Harmonastix/?action=view&current=ScreenShot5-1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v468/Harmonastix/ScreenShot5-1.jpg" border="0" /></a></p><p>FIRE IN THE GROVE! This will most likely change after GU53 hits...I hear they're adding green hedges...</p>

<p>Someone's being tricksy with the portals and the invisible walls / teleport volumes again <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" /></p><p>Great job on it though! Thankfully they don't have any plans to patch the tricks folks have been using to escape the guild halls. I think what we're seeing really shows how creative people can be in making their *own* creations with the base zone art and not a preconstructed building. The existing guild halls are nice, no doubt about it, but it's so much more fun to be able to go out and make so much more =)</p><p>I'd kill for a T3 guild hall of my own. My tiny alt guild is slowly working it's way up to a T1, but it'll be a long time before I can get my hands on a T3.</p>

<p>Nothing beats outdoor living! Fresh open air, yet everything within reach! Makes me wanna climb trees like I did as a little girl! heh <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/908627bbe5e9f6a080977db8c365caff.gif" border="0" /></p><p>Your design reminds me of a small village in woods - fantastic use of Archer's Woods!</p><p>with luv from the gals of the 'hood</p><p>celestina, eldra, nelida, slizz, alvane</p>

<p>Very cool!  I love the huge tree house and the whole story idea <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />. </p><p>Btw, I suspect you could "tinker" a catapult fairly easily using a wall shelf tilted at the right angle with a support of some sort...</p>

I'm gonna see if I have enough tinker items left to try and make some sort of fire catapult <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" /></p>

<p>With GU53 coming soon I'm considering playing with the farm near qeynos lol. Those briarwood fences and scarecrow plushies are giving me ideas. But I'm down to 200 item count <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" /></p>

<p>Think 2 freeport doubble militia shelves (prolly got the word in teh wrong order) back to back would make a nice catapult arm.</p>
