While having a chat on the cross-server Homeshow channel this kind of came up and I thought it'd be fun to post just to see if anything would ever come of it. Maybe not the entirely right board for it but the heart of why I want it definitely is Homeshow.

Wouldn't it be neat to have a planter that grew things in your house and plants grew? This came up as a response to, wouldn't it be nice to grow harvestables in your house? Granted, growing rocks isn't very likely but plants and wood, why not? You could set it on the same sort of timers as either the guild hall harvesters or the golden cockatrice that has a daily timer. You could have items that "improve" the yield or chance of rares, like add loam to a planter and increase the amount returned or increase chance of a rare harvest coming up.

Why would this be homeshow? I'd love to see this be something like a planter where you tell it you are growing, say, Tier 2 shrubs and over the next hour it shows seedlings, then sprouts, and then on up to shrubs like you'd see in Antonica when it was ready and you could harvest it. Preferably if you didn't harvest it, it'd just stay. You could extend this to different appearances, planters with flowers growing, small trees, whatever.

Heck, I could do without the harvests (though it would be fun) I just want a planter that grows plants we could interact with and help grow other than just submerging potted plants and shrubs into the current planters.

it's a lovely idea, i know i have sent in feedback suggesting such a thing ... it could even be made another or a secondary craft, different plants producing different harvestables depending on your tradeskill, Personally i like the idea of having the plants produce only a certain item for special recipes, Would give crafters something unique only they can produce and couldn't be mass harvested, I know there is that plant from tunare diety quest that you have to water, sing to and feed maybe something along those lines, where you have to do it a certain number of times but can't do it more than once a day?

Don't know if it is possible to impliment but would be a wonderful touch to the game

Mistal x

Who says rocks don't grow! , you should come help with my RL garden...every year I dig it over and get rid of the rocks/stones and every year there are still more to be disposed of.

Yes, the Golden Cockatrice was a loot reward from one of the LoN Scenarios.Storm Break Campaign, Scenario 10 - this is the last of the most recent chain of scenarios (barring the monthly scenario)

Once every 24 hours the person who won and claimed it can ask it for an egg. It's egg can be examined and has an option to open it.

Opened eggs can contain:an ordinary egg (worth a few copper)an expensive egg (can't remember exact name, wirth abit over 80g)food - 1 serving (with good out of combat regen and some in-combat regen)drink - 1 serving (with good out of combat regen and a move speed buff)gold egg - house item you can place in houses or guild halls. Looks more brownish than golden but, it's an egg. I use them in a nest I placed in a dragon's den in our guild hall.

There may be others but that's all I've seen so far.
