<p><span ><p>From 25 to 15 Bonus. I understand that you are in the middle of trying to nerf down Shadow Knights. This change however effects both Crusaders heavily. For the first time in a very long time, Crusaders were able to compete with Guardians and Zerkers in terms of DPS.</p><p>This is the single best ability given to Paladins in this entire expansion. While everyone else shot up in performance, Paladin's were given the short end of the stick with a useless stoneskin that nobody uses and a small dmg/heal ability. If you're trying to nerf down SK's more, than do it with other ability's. If you're trying to nerf down Paladin's, it begs the question why? You've taken away our purpose in raids. You've given us nothing in comparison to the other fighters and we're quickly becoming an endangered class.</p><p>If you want to see Paladin's in your game what so ever, I suggest you stop trying to find ways to make them quit. We're already one of the rarest classes seen in both PvP and PvE. That will go down even further with the loss of amends and a raid position. You've made us single target tanks without the defensive capability's of Guardians and now you're taking away a very large ability that contributes to our DPS.</p><p>Stop.</p></span> </p><div></div>

Was this the same proc discussion just started in developers? I just read that the proc nerf was put on hold until it can be reviewed. Not sure if its the same.

<p>No, it's a reduction in the bonus for the Knight's Stance Shadows AA ability. It used to grant +5% damage per level if you had a shield equipped (a max of 25%) and it has been silently reduced to +3% per level (a max of 15%) on Test. The changes to procs is a different thing. There was no mention of it in the patch notes, and Aeralik has never said that it was something that he was even considering doing -- it just showed up.</p>

<p>Is it just me, or does the last month seem like a constant game of "nerfbat wack-a-mole"?</p><p>I can't see any rhyme or reason for most of the changes, just cryptic comments from Aerilik that say: "I don't like how that worked so I changed it."  I would be fine if I thought most of these changes had something to do with a grand, overall vision that would make the game better.  Instead, we are faced with a bunch of disjointed changes that no one understands.</p><p>Seriously, the fact that people are discussing the effects of a nerf, and there are so many that others have to ask which nerf they are talking about, is nuts.</p><p>Can we PLEASE get some overall vision and reasoning for some of these changes before one of the devs pulls an NGE and ruins the game?</p>

<p>That is a direct question to the dev about knights stance, unfortunatley she never actually answered it. I guess we'll have to wait. If what they were saying is true though, I'm extremely happy to hear that Aeralik is no longer in charge.</p>
