TSO DVDs

<p>Not sure if anyone else has had this problem, but I am unable to install the game from the TSO DVDs and I have two copies! Each copy has a seperate problem.</p><p>One copy will not install the game at all. It gets to about 45% and then craps out. Tried this twice.</p><p>Bought another game for the install discs for my other account. The game installed all the way. I launch the game and get a Launchpad error. Download the client from the re-install EQ2 link and the launchpad runs, but craps out when loading graphics!</p><p>This is all on a fresh install of Vista. Game works fine from installing and updating from Kunark DVDs.</p><p>Any other problems reported like this?</p>

<p>In regards to the DVD not reading, you should be able to simply download the updates through the launchpad once you enter the activation key.  The updating problem that you are having is different and will need to be corrected.  You should be able to fix that problem by following these steps:</p><p>1. Right click on the program launch icon2. Left click on "Properties".3. In the new window that pops up click on the "Compatibility" tab.4. In the "Compatibility Mode" area check the box next to "Run this program in compatibility mode for:"5. In the drop down list make certain that "Windows XP (Service Pack 2)" is selected.6. Under "Privilege Level" make certain that the box next to "Run this program as administrator" is checked.7. Click on "Apply" then click on "Ok".8. Right click on the icon and select "Run as Administrator"</p><p>Let us know if you are still having trouble after trying the above.</p>
