View Full Version : New Map system work with EQ2Maps?

<p>With TSO they are revamping the maps.  Love the change and say that it was WAY overdue.  With that said, do you need to completely remove EQ2Maps or will the changes work with EQ2Maps?</p>

<p>yeah the EQ2map guys are in Beta and have been working on it.</p>

The only post I've seen over at eq2interface is to go ahead and remove eq2map and wait for a TSO-compatible versions of EQ2map to come out. That's supposed to be available tomorrow, but we'll see.

<p>Yes.  EQ2Map had been updated for TSO.  Adds all new/improved PoIs, uses the new map system, uses different/new icons (some the same), the whole shabang.   It will include a new installer and I'm assuming that it should be available to download by/during tomorrow's downtime.</p>

<p>I just clicked on the EQ2Map updater, now fails to patch the files and has a big red warning saying to download the latest version. Looks like they are uploading it now.</p><p>Now I just need to remember the userid and password for the site .. bet they get a lot of forgotten password requests .. LOL</p>
