Just got my inquisitor to 30, and the soloing completely blows. Mobs kill me often, the soloing is slow xp, and I won't be getting any groups until atleast about 55 when i can group with my lower guildmates. Is it worth keeping my priest or can you reccomend me a class that solos quicker and is more fun overall?

   Thanks,

    Navi =]

Respec all your AA to Battle Cleric AA in the Inquisitor tree. Cast a single reactive on yourself before pull and you should be able to fight up to 3 white solo mobs without dieing. Yes healer solo isn't as fast as Scout or Mage solo, but it should be so much saver, that you almost never die. Last but not least build a group yourself. Announce in the appropriate level channel that you build a group an for which zone and more often then not you should get a group together. If all that does not work for you roll a Brawler or Summoner. They are the easiest solo classes. Hope you will have fun.

Thanks mate, I'll respec and roll the brawler first, if those don't work I'll make a Summoner.

calberak wrote some pretty good stuff. the inquisitor takes some learning, and I find that I hardly die anymore even when going against even-con encounters. I could solo the "shiny brass halberd" HQ while it was even con, and didnt die once during the heroic parts (killing t'sanne and then the assassins).

the key strategy is to cast a reactive when going against something white or higher, debuff the mobs with your mitigation debuff, use your retaliation on them. then start an HO, use flame strike + the other vs devine debuff, then use invocation, and if you have it, your 4th AA CA from the battle cleric line. renew your reactives when they run out, and keep using HOs, because they cause some nice free extra damage.

As for armor, im running around in the class armour from the lvl 20 questline, its very soloable too, even the last quest that says its heroic - obere warrain is a pushover. just get your reactives up and go get em.

the key to playing an inquisitor is learning the heals and debuffs and using them the right way. this can really make the difference between you having full hp after a fight or taking a dirt nap. plus, level-lock and get some AA points to get the battle cleric line, it will help you a fair bit. my choice was to put 5 points into the first three attacks, 3 points into the AOE, one point into enhance act of faith to unlock the WIS debuff, then battle cleric. after that, go for the stamina line for a stun (I dont have that one yet, lvl 31 myself at the moment, with 24 AAs) and for 100% melee crit.

As for your other class choices, brawler could be fun, summoner/necro is great for soloing, but weaker in groups, it feels
