Would it be possible, or is it being worked on to have guards be able to follow assigned paths so we can have them patrolling the halls?

I kind of want to have like a squad of guards walking in formation in the courtyards as I have others walking the perimeters of the wall.

That would be awesome. I hope SOE looks into it. Also, I would love it if guild leaders could decide what they said when you hailed them.

Actually this would be great for all sorts of house items like pets, arena stuff, etc. Make the cat always go one way, and the mouse always taking a different path like it knows where the cat is..

I think it would be hard from a programming perspective, to allow users to set up their own paths. The only thing I can think of is to have some sort of marker that is set down, and the NPC's path towards it. Though how do you assign which pet/guard follows the path? How fast do they follow it ? What pathing issues would crop up (we already know of lots in the PvE scene) ? Do we have something that lets us 'see' the markers only when we equip a certain item?Due to these, though I like the idea, I don't think it would ever be implemented.
