Why isnt there any raids where the guy does a raidwide drunk debuff?

Such things are left up to the players.

Good idea for the next brew-day event... ^_^

Click on a item and get ported to an instance where you get deleveled to 10 (so everyone is on the same level) and then as a group have to kill a mob that does a zone-wide drunk effect and removes your current target and you can't tab select it... have to click on it. (/target blah blah is disabled also). This will be annoying as heck, but a great conversation piece after you get your reward... the everlasting tankard!

The same reason that you don't get a [Removed for Content] curse at the start of the raid and have four hours to cure it.

It's just kind of silly.

EQ1 had raid encounters that did this. Checked against your alcohol tolerance skill.

Yeah. Lost Dungeons of Norrath finally added in spell effects that would make the players drunk, and thier alcohol tolerance was the only way to fight it off.

But the thing is: Getting drunk in EQlive actually lowered your stats and blurred your vision.

In EQ2, all it does is blur your vision, so there's no actual downside to a mob inducing a state of inebriation on the players. Even with blured vision, they'd still be able to find objects with ease or target NPCs or anything else.

Well, when you're fully intoxicated it's REALLY blurry. If you then had to find and click on a statue that you couldn't tab-target....

I'd afk if they made a raid mob do that. Hurts my eyes so bad its like wearing a horrible prescription of glasses. Really it causes migranes lol.

I'd hate that. My main is a sober character, refuses to touch the stuff.

When you're fully drunk, you start seeing everything 4 times, and it forms a square as it focuses in and out. To click on the object, you just click in the center of that square.

I found the perfect solution for those who hate the new resting pose...Beer Googles! Or drinking until the screen blurrs, that way you don't have to worry about all your troubles anymore!

Especially when you have 23 other people around you fighting a multi-target encounter. I can click on a mob standing right in front of me and half the time hail a god pet barely visible on my screen standing behind me.
