I hope someone can elinghten me with my problem I'm an old EQ player wanted to go back to the game and download EQ2 after several days of playing with my trial account I decided to subscribe and continue my old account (Sony said that they will give me the whole EQ2 game including the expansion and bonus packs). So i was excited to subscribe and login to my account, updated my account information including my Payment Sources. So i proceed to select the montly subscription of $14.99upon submitting the transaction, waited for a few seconds and then Wam! Sony said that I encounter a problem with my Debit card information and said try to contact my bank, eager to subscribe i go back and checked my Payment Information and even called my bank to verify if my Billing Address is with what I entered on Sony.So i tried the 2nd time, as I expected another failed transaction. Without any hesitation I tried again after a few minutes(like 3-4minutes) then check everything that I enter for my debit card card information... Names, Expiration dates, address, zip codes, all the stuff that will verify my card is legit, then I proceed to sumbit, then it failed as I expected. So I stop trying and remove my payment information from the site and will try again the next day and see if my other credit card will work. The following day my I checke my saving account(By the way my Debit card is connected to my payroll account) and I noticed that I lost a significant amount on my saving account. I called my bank to verify the transaction and asking who the hell made those charges on my debit card. The bank said that there was 3 transaction made on my account and I ask from what merchant, they said that it was from SOE - Sony Online Entertainment and the amount are the same 3 x $14.99. And now my question... How the hell will I get charged with a failed transaction!!! I will go to my bank and have those transaction be printed in-case sony asked for a proof. Danm i though Sony's services had changed I hope someone can give me some answer on why i get charged and is it possible to refund those charges.

I've been getting some weird stuff happening also with trying to renew a subscription, identical to what you've just been describing.

Wow.. same thing just hapenned to me! I havent played in forever and thought i'd give EQ2 a go again. It kept failing in the middle of the transaction, then on the 3rd try it said bank un approved. I was like.. [Removed for Content]? So I just used my other card and it went through fine. I open up my balance sheet. BAM negative 9 dollars and I had 20 dollars in there to start. I was double charged. Does anyone know who I talk to for this?

EDIT - actually I was triple charged if you count the successful transaction.

Something like this would probably be better discussed directly to a customer support person.... [TECH] Contacting Technical SupportAre you sure that the funds wrent just put on hold for a few days? I know that banks and credit cards tend to do that and it looks like it was fully charged, but then drops a few days later when the charge is not put through.
