Ok, so since i installed the patch, i seem to be getting Blue screens of death on a regular basis.  I just got a new computer like 3 weeks ago.  Everything was working flawless until today, i have gotten 6 BSOD's since i installed an started playing the game.  Anyone else having problems?  I dont really know what the BSOD is, as it reboots instantly, i run the Vista "try to find a solution" problem and it just goes away.  Wondering if anyone else is having more issues with vista 64 and the new patch? or is it just cooincidence that i happen to be getting them only today and not in the last 3 weeks prior?

Running Vista64 with dual core and 4gb of memory, patched last night and played 5 to 6 hours last night and had no problems.

Turn off multi-core support under performance options.  I was crashing to desktop after the patch and once I did this it stopped.  So much for the multi-core support.

I have been running multi-core support on Test and now on Live. Not a single crash with the exception of the same old 4+ gigs of memory crashes in Neriak. No blue screens.. no desktops.. notta.Sounds like hardware/driver conflicts to me. And, yes I know.. "But, it only happens in EQ2". But, EQ2 may be the only application that is causing two drivers or hardware devices to act simutaneously too.

I am running vista 64, with an e6600 and an 8800gt, prior to the patch I had not had a bsod on my pc since installing any of this hardware - ever. The day I patched, I hit a bsod within 15 minutes of being in game - it pointed to my graphics driver. So, I figured what the heck, I was one revision behind, I will update. I removed the old, rebooted, installed the new, rebooted, etc, began playing again - and within a half hour or so got another bsod, same message. I verified my driver revision was the one I intended, and it was. Then again, a bit later, a full lockup, no crash, had to hard reboot (ick). Now, last night I didnt get a crash, and played for several hours. So, I have not been able to verify much of any variables as of yet. Also worth noting, since the patch I have lost an average of 10fps off of any location I am in despite no change to my options settings (I play in high quality, averaging 35-45fps prepatch, now I bounce between 15-35)So, you are not alone, but I have no answers sadly

I did not have any problems last night.  I even went on a raid in VP with the trillions of spells and people runnin around, in the huge world, and not a problem.  the first day was horrible with 6 or 7 in a few hours only, last night i played for 6 hours with not one.  I am confused....     was there a ninja fix by SOE? <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />
