I still think it odd that we get 5 year vet rewards when the game is only coming up to its 4th birthday

<p>I bet they won't be as cool as the new LoN reward cards. <img src="http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/images/smilies/e78feac27fa924c4d0ad6cf5819f3554.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" /></p>

hah, good luck with a 60% mount being given out. I expect the normal potions and fluff items, but I don't see anything hardcore coming out.

Then you are the minority...in fact you are the type who needs to quit if what OTHERS have in the game bothers you that badly. Of course like I've always said with your type, it's not enough that YOU have an uber-item, it's that it must be as difficult as possible for others to have that item. That way you can wave your [Removed for Content] in town to impress people.

I think the title should be from a Famous game item.Hmm.  Lasai The Ancient ClownshoeI think the mount should be a Soneee.  Its speedy but rarely listens to rider input, and tends to careen about in unforeseen directions.House Item.. possibly a Void Storm that spawns creatures who kill all your other house pets then scribble with crayons in all your Lore books.A Nathan Ironforge pet3x potions that silence the Nathan Ironforge pet3x potions that transform the Nathan Ironforge pet into a puntable Nathan Ironforge gnome.

lol, the boards would explode if they gave out mythicals. I don't have mine yet, but I sure as hell don't want to get it by /claim. We are in VP now and I think that an item like that should be earned, not given. And it's not about caring what other people have that bugs people. Mythicals are a sign of achievement and that would dicipate if they were just given out. On a serious note, I really don't want another house pet or house item. An appearance slot item might be nice though. I certainly think an extra character slot is practical since it rewards the dedicated people appropriatly.

You know full well it's going to be yet more exp potions and some useless crap. No way would they want anything that is half as good as the LoN stuff (you know that stuff they said would be pure fluff and have no impact on the game).

I don't know, the Veteran Display Case is a pretty useful item. Bordering on being unfair actually, considering that it makes it just a bit more difficult for newer (and likely poorer) players to make money.I'd rather see these rewards stay firmly in 'fluff' category.

DragonMaster2385

the sales case was awesome and I don't think it was that unfair. All people have to do is lower the price if they are stuck at 20% comission. They make a little less money, but not anything terriable. If they have something that expensive that they don't want to take a hit on, they just have to broadcast it for sale instead of listing it on the broker.

I think something that rewards would be best. I like house fluff items but I'd like something more along the lines of big bag, one with no weight, or more slots then anything currently available. Or an extra bag slot or bank space. Though I already have altitis where getting everyone thru the world events is a chore, maybe an extra character slot. I think it should be something to reward commitment to the game, but not something that is already earned for adventuring effort, so not a mythical mount.

I don't think an additional character slot would be out of line for those of us who have been paying for this game for 4 years.

I seriously have an issue with the disply case, I mean on one hand I am glad for all of you vets, but on the other hand it is just anoying as all getup on selling stuff considering that most folks don't bother going to your house to buy stuff. So the person with that reward can sell for a bit more coin and still undercut everyone. YES I have seen folks actually take the time to undercut by a very small amount yet their base price is higher then others.

I don't think it should be used as a justification either. Like I said, I didn't have a problem with them trying to attract new players to the game by those means. I'm just saying that giving me a firework to play with for being a subscriber for three years is kind of like a kick in the face. Maybe house items that have use to them other than just decoration. A port to a certain spot, for example, would be great. If you haven't been here that long and don't get the item, then you can just make friends with someone that does have it and go into their house. With TSO coming out, there are going to be dungeons all over the existing world and it would be awesome foresight if they gave us an item that ported us straight to some of those harder to reach zone entrances.
