Please? Keep regen where it's add now but can you please add an increased regen for sitting? With 11k-12k hitpoints and 8k or so in power, it's taking forever to get back into gameplay when I'm soloing (and grouped depending on setup). Miss the ole sit down to regen days on EQ1 and early EQ2. The longer you sit the faster you regen.

I remember staring at my spellbook for 10-15 minutes after each fight to regen mana. Then the lowly wandering mob attacks because you're sitting, and you can't see it because you're staring at the spellbook.

Ahh the memories

The good ole days. Better then saying "smoke em' if ya got em" after speed pulling for 5 minutes.

The whole idea behind no increased regen sitting because they didnt want you to sit still at one spot, I dont see why they will change their mind on it all of a sudden.

Our luck they will take this idea and nerf the amount of regen you get from standing instead of actually increasing the amount if you're sitting.

I don't see much downtimes. My lower level templar can take a bit to regen power... but only when she has bit off more than she could chew and went OOM because of adds, or if I have a blonde moment and fail to click Yualp off.Stuff that has persistant cost can kill regen speed if you don't click them off.

If we're talking about buffing up the regen while sitting.. both health and power.. then there needs to be an opposite reaction as well. Walking slows regen and running disables it all together for example. After all.. we're either travelling the "easy" route.. or we're taking the "realisitic" path. And, with the latter.. there's no reason anyone should be regenerating as fast while walking or at all while running. If we're talking easy mode.. then just make it instant 100% regen after each mob dies and be done with it.

I spent my first several days playing this game sitting down to help increase regen. I didn't see much of a difference if any at all but I figured it still worked.Upon grouping with another fella and doing that for about 10 mins, he laughed, acknowledged I must have been an old EQ player and told me it doesn't work the same in this game. <hangs head in shame>I was pretty disappointed however to learn that bind wounds also wasn't carried over from EQ.

They had sitting in EQ2 during beta. It was taken out and you were given the regen of sitting while standing. So, they weren't taking anything away by not having sitting. They just made it easier. To increase the regen rates while sitting would be going above and beyond the rate intended for the game.
