Which bard class would be recommended for a group consisting of a Paladin, Templar, and Illusionist (and sometimes a mystic in place of the Templar)?

Troubador would up the dps of your illy (and even pally since they have spells) quite nicely.

I'd go with a troub since everyone in group is a caster or has allot of casting abilities.

What they said, but if you want sexy, go for dirge.

switch the temp to inq and make it a melee inq.then play a dirge, cuz dirges are way cooler.Plus if you play them right they are way more than just a buff bot.

I like troubs better . their AQ is prettier than the dirge's.

from what i've seen on my server, most raid guilds have 1 troub in a raid of 24. 2-3 dirges in a raid of 24.

Signed, troub with no raid spot

troub.... dirges help out more combat art focused classes while troub help out more spell focused classes.that said... either one is a benifit to any group.
