I was wondering what to make of this tiny nook. I'm voting for a garden, or at least have a fountain. what else has everyone else done? My Wood Elf, though Assassin, acts like a druid when decorating- no stone walls, as they're all wood, and you'll see the upstairs. Here's the nook. It currently holds the things I don't have a place for. That painting would go in my basement...if I had enough room:<img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v340/moltove/Everquest/EQ2_000024.jpg" alt="" border="0" />And here's my upstairs bedroom/garden:<img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v340/moltove/Everquest/EQ2_000037.jpg" alt="" border="0" />It's the most laggy part of my house, but not as laggy as Amarua's with all of her pets and stuff, hehe. She says she runs fine in her house, so I know that this area isn't bad at all for computers.<img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v340/moltove/Everquest/EQ2_000038.jpg" alt="" border="0" />The fountain has a glowing pool and a small birdbath looking thing...luckily you can't see the birdbath has green water (it's the basin from the Void Tempest furniture)<img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v340/moltove/Everquest/EQ2_000039.jpg" alt="" border="0" />Here's a close up on how the pool sparkles. It's the book from the Profet of Rodcet live quest:<img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v340/moltove/Everquest/EQ2_000042.jpg" alt="" border="0" />And here's the real part of the bedroom. Ohh, la la! Pillows in front of the fireplace! And of course the Bristlebane altar on the right with the helm from the Bristlebane Day event:<img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v340/moltove/Everquest/EQ2_000040.jpg" alt="" border="0" />And the other half with Tunare's altar...no special graphics:<img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v340/moltove/Everquest/EQ2_000041.jpg" alt="" border="0" />Well, that's it! Any ideas or sugestions are welcome. I'd like to know how to turn the ugly gravel off and turn on the grass, lol. Plus, I noticed that the ground is not flat, so that makes things even more fun. I think it could use some touch ups, but I'm running low on ideas or known plant things. As for that other outside spot...I dunno yet...I think a fountain and more Nek trees.

I'm a big fan of tiered gardens - lots of cascading/visual interest going on at eye level.   I haven't had time to hop in and take pics, but if you want to make a toon and pop over to NFP on Butcherblock, Reimani's at 7 Compassion Road  - I've done downstairs and upstairs gardens, using rugs to simulate "tile" in the hallway past the downstairs one.

Thanks for the invite! Your house looks really great. Hmm, I need to get out more, it seems, since there's a lot of stuff I've never seen before, like the Fae tavern shelves and fae lantern. I really like the fountain in the corner in your outside room.Hmm, if there could be a way to send those stone planters through the ceiling and to the roof, only showing the grass and a bit of stone- I don't like how our only option to grass is in 2 feet tall stone blocks.Overall, I just need to think more creatively. Like I would have never thought of using the compartments of the chemestry set like the way you've done. Hmm..time to experiment! thanks!

Thanks for checkin it out!  It's still mid-progress - I got sidetracked by the SK's three room in SQ, but now and then I add more and it comes a bit further.  I cannot wait for the furniture sizing to come in. <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

His idea, not mine. Possibly because his incarnation prior to his shadowknight was a bruiser who adored meditation. It's not quite complete yet, as I still need to finish the workout area, currently designated by the single straw mat.<a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.inkalot.org/images/EQ2/EQ2_Kazz_garden1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://www.inkalot.org/images/EQ2/TH_EQ2_Kazz_garden1.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a>  <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.inkalot.org/images/EQ2/EQ2_Kazz_garden2.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://www.inkalot.org/images/EQ2/TH_EQ2_Kazz_garden2.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a>  <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.inkalot.org/images/EQ2/EQ2_Kazz_garden3.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://www.inkalot.org/images/EQ2/TH_EQ2_Kazz_garden3.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><a rel="nofollow" href="http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/posts/list.m?start=0&topic_id=404752" target="_blank">You can find Jazabelle's nook and garden here.</a> Although my garden has been torn up a tiny bit... the souls are being provided by Jazabelle's item. Kazz's old one from his bruiser is sitting in the middle of her garden right now. I haven't gotten around to putting it back behind the waterfall.

I think you've done well with what you have, to be perfectly honest. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />
